will you buy me a provari? :D

You seem to want one really bad :)

I see the post where you will adopt one, the comment about the post where someone said they stuck one in a drawer.

I think I might be leaving the forum and I should do a good deed before leaving. I have more than I need, I can easily get another backup.

I would have liked to have stuck around at least long enough to have found my perfect hands free solution but oh well.

Send me an address to mail it to and I will send you my backup.

I will check my messages this weekend then will vanish either for awhile or for good.

Why are you so against those that have found something we really like?.....
When someone asks if they should get one I do tell them my opinion of it, should I not do that? I do like it better than anything else I have used, should I not say that?

I am not against anyone liking the Provari. It's more the way that like is portrayed, presented, and passed along to other people that bothers me. In the New Member's forum, I will normally stay out of threads where people are asking about what APV to buy. Can you guess why?

Do you have one?
Do I have one... what?

ETA: Where are the screws made? Where is the spring in the battery cap made? Where is the button made?
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html
i had to look it up yesterday. i know there is a rule about labeling something "made in the usa"...like only 10% of materials have to be usa sourced to fit that criteria
Not at all. I'm quite cheery, which in a way freaks people a bit, since they imagine I would be a "Gothic."

These, for a size reference, are deer feet:

hangingdeersmall.jpg
i don't know if am more curious that you have a doll with deer feet or that it appears to have ended it's own dollhood
I actually don't get why some people get all ruffled about others suggesting Provari's or GG's or Darwin's or Vamo's etc for newbies.

because 'everyone' is a damn busybody that can't mind their own business....if i want to spend $65654967456.00 on a piece of lint....my money right? (this flows into so many other topics than just vaping LOL)
Some of the dust up you are seeing and comments is because of a thread where someone asked specifically about one of these. It might be time for me to leave this forum.
now that is just silly talk..who will read my posts?!
have you SEEN how enormous this forum is....that's like getting robbed in philly and deciding you don't like all of the USA! you may never even see these avatars again. Please reconsider.

to no one in particular: what's with all this "fanboy" stuff...what about fangirls or fanchicks huh? :p OOH! why not just call 'em fannies LMAO

John ... don't act like a spoiled child! Being of a different generation than most on here, I spanked my kids when they threw a temper tantrum. Just figured that if they wanted to feel all .... hurt, their .... needed to hurt.

We are just talking about PV's for crying out loud, who cares what you or I like or don't like .......... really!

think I'll just go vape my $17 VV box mod just to spite all you guys

Like everything else; cars, motorcycles, computers, whatever, it's all subjective. chadsmo's opinion is he likes the Prov, Euphonious Nonsense appears to have not enjoyed his experience with it. Everyone has an opinion and someone will disagree with it. That is a fact. :D

The question is should it be recommended to a brand new user? My opinion is no. However it may be right for this user later on.

Here is an example: I own a Harley and love it dearly. It is not my first bike. My first bike was not a Harley and neither were the next two. Each bike taught me several things about riding and when it came time to buy my latest ride I chose to move up to the big boys club. It is my opinion that a HD is the best motorcycle out there. Believe me when I say that there are other bikers out there that strongly disagree. :D I wouldn't recommend my HD Ultra Classic to a noobie rider but I might recommend a Sportster. :)

    Great post!!!

Heck I have no particular dog in the hunt for who uses what gear. Use what works and keeps you off stinkies.

Yes I ordered a vamo. It will meet my needs at a price that leaves me enough budget for other gear I need to get myself where I want to be vaping wise. I also found the directions for building a puck mod. I am thinking about getting a college friend of mine (who is an electrical engineer) to build me a couple 3 of them. Why? It is dead simple and does the job. These I could leave in strategic places around the house and not be chained to my PV 24/7.

    Whatever works.

I own a ProVari, and love it. I wouldn't recommend it to a new user however. Probably should start with an eGo Twist or Spinner to figure out the whole VV thing. I would suggest a ProVari as an upgrade however.

I'll be honest...I didn't read this whole thread. I wouldn't call myself a fanboy, as I don't really protect my ProVari with a fiery passion....what works for me, may not be for you. I also have a CCTS that I love.

The term "best" in this hobby...is very subjective. People need to understand that.

What's funny is that many of you would label me a Provari fanboy ( a term I find offensive, but whatever...) like I am yhe type of person who feels you have to spend a lot of dough to "belong" to a club or elite group of vapors.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I'm also the guy who's sold off my ZAP & D.I.D.'s to hang onto my inexpensive $25 AGA Genisis attys. These cheap little buggers flat out destroy everything else I've ever tried. I recommend them to everyone in place of the high end attys that are so beloved around here.

So... My view isn't so much based on bankroll... It's based on performance, value, and reliability.

The term "FANBOI" applied to anything IS offensive. The only people I will happily apply that term to are those who shove their view down other peoples throats as the only possible acceptable answer for everyone. AND they do it in such a way that is hurtful, mean spirited and deeming to the other person.

In short it the behavior not the device.

Seriously Scoop I didn't buy the provari for some very basic reasons. FIrst I really wanted variable wattage and I think that will fit my vaping style better than variable voltage alone. Second although I could have afforded the $200 for the provari it would have blasted my budget for the next month. At $60 the Vamo will allow me to get my DIY going and an AGA-T + rebuilding supplies. Remember I AM a fairly new vaper I am still getting myself set up on multiple fronts.

I doubt you would disagree that the Vamo is a step up from my ego-Cs or that the battery life will be much improved on it. Hurricane season is coming down here. I needed something with changeable batteries in case of a typical 3-4 day power failure. Going out to the car to charge and ego-C isn't really an option in a hurricane. :)

I have 2 Vamos. One just died. When working, they were really good and worked well with the AGAs. I just hated that the latest one I bought last month, preordered.... So it should have been the latest version...had the center pin come loose and won't read/fire an atty at all now... So that $$ was basically wasted. The other one I have still works fine.
