RECALL REFUND
Dear Jim,
We hope that this email find you well. You are receiving this email because you are the on of the 26 owners of one or multiple EQ Personal Vaporizers and we regrettable have some bad news, and in a way some good news for you. We want you to know that you are our first EQ customers and the most important to us..
By now you have read the forums and heard about some if the early faults of the EQ's that went out in their first run and their outstanding issues. Rest assured that We (I) am listening, and Digitalciggz cares.. of course we do.
After reviewing 2 of the units that came back for various issues and inspecting them thoroughly we have come to the conclusion that there is a flaw in the design, where the atomizer connector is seated in the drip well which can allow pooled e-liquid to seep inside over a period of 1 or two days on the internal electronic and cause many faults. Some of them include: Random Voltage adjustment, Leaking e-liquid from the pump button, and the dreaded blinking light lock up, and possibly other failures. we will be re-evaluating these flaws, and others that have been mentioned.
Please understand that this was somehow over looked and was never intentionally ignored, we did our very best and put in many hours/month/ late night/weekends of testing and refining before releasing the EQ's but we obviously missed this some how someway.. and now we must deal with this in the only way that is fair and just.
For the reason stated above we are performing a voluntary recall of all 26 units that went out and a prepared to offer you a Full refund for your purchase . Please understand that this comes as a very heavy blow to Digitalciggz.com and this is not what we wished at all. But it is so important that we take the EQ back to beta, and development to make sure that this issues will never arise again. The EQ project has been set back and is not over.. but will be re-developed and improved over the next many months until we know with out a doubt that every issue will be resolved permanently.
Digitalciggz has always had a know reputation for doing what is right for its customers and while we know that many of you will be disappointed at this news.. we are sure that some of you will appreciate the nature of the situation and our attempt to do right by all of you.
REFUND and RETURN PROCESS EXPLAINED:
NOTE: You will receive a PRE-PAID POSTAGE LABEL FOR YOUR RETURN sent to your email on file at Digitalciggz.com
1: Please do not use your EQ if you can help it. This will only increase the possibility of damaging the inside of the unit, and make more work for us.
2: You will be sent a pre-paid shipping label to send your unit back to us.
3: Please Please purge the EQ pump with water, and remove the battery, and make sure that all the fluid is pumped from the unit before wrapping the unit up in a paper towel. Please wipe off any e-liquid form the outside of the unit, and drip well. wrap the unit up the best you can. for protection.
Please return the following items for a full 300.00 refund including +tax is applicable:
1 EQ personal vaporizer/ +Battery Cap
1 Bottle Tool.
1 Drip Feed Adapter.
1 USB Cable
NOTE: You may keep the MNKE Battery and Tubing Pieces.
3: Once we receive the the full unit back+parts we will issue you a full refund to the card that was used to make the original purchase . Please allow 3-5 business days from the day your refund is issued for the credit to appear on your card. If you do not see the credit appear on your card more that 10 days after your unit has been received call us immediately so we can remedy the situation. 707-637-2457 or email of course.
4: The good news if any can come from this.. is that if you are willing we would like to accept some of you as our BETA testers during our re-fining stage of the next months. We know that many of you are very knowledgeable in the MOD field and we sure could use for constructive feedback! So if you are interested after you receive your refund please shoot us an email and we will get you on board with more beta testing, and when the Revised EQ's are ready to be tested we will get some back in your hands for just that more testing! The EQ project is not OVER.. we just had a set back and want to make it right! We hope you will appreciate your drive to finish what we started.... and forgive us for our errors.
