Kinda weird. Some have trouble with protanks (me included so I hate them) and some have no trouble with the i30. (I love them)

I don;t think it is necessarily problems in all cases. I tried the iClears and just don't think them. I think a big part of it is what kind of juice you use. Especially involving how sweet they are. None of my juices are overly sweet so I find the bigger tanks give a muted and watery taste,

Thank you. I'll check mine when I get home. Not that I'm worried. I bought mine from my local B&M vape shop that has been really great.

Just a small update. I checked it and it was legit. Thank you to all who pointed the scratch off code and verification.

I was shocked at how long the MVP2 charge lasts! I took it to work with me. (I work 4 nights on/4 nights off. 13 hour shift.) I had vaped on my MVP2 for 2 off days, and I figured my first night working I would need to charge it when I got home. It was still showing green. I took it in with me the next night, same thing. Still showing green when I got home. Not until my last night did it go to yellow. That was effectively 6 days of vaping before I needed to charge it. (I didn't want it to go into the red.) Now, I vape a lot like how I used to smoke. Every hour or two, I would vape for about 15-30 minutes. I was seriously amazed at how long it held it's charge! I had heard it goes on and on by others, but to have it go on as long as it did was really astounding! The 6 days of charge was straight out of the box as well. Really a great item, and I couldn't suggest it to others any more highly.

(The MVPs is fully charged when the green light goes off. Is this correct?)

Me too and I can't understand the longevity of the unit. There must be some different chemistry with the MVP battery.

put mine on the charger with ~900 puffs and 3.7V showing on the battery. The one thing i caution about is that when you go yellow its like two tokes till red and shutdown. :D i was getting a lot more but with the Russian 91 @ 10watts and doing more long lung inhales i am using the battery a little harder than i was before. :)

Here are the official numbers
4.2 to 3.75 (green)
3.75 to 3.63 (yellow) (note that there is only .12 volts in this band)
3.63 to 3.3 (red)
Below 3.3 volts Won't fire.

Also, if you look at most Li-Ion/LiPo discharge curves, 3.6 volts is just about right at the threshold where cell voltage RAPIDLY drops off.

A lot of people assume that yellow means you have 50% charge. This is not true.

If you are sporting yellow, you should be looking for a USB port.

And yes, Kayfuns and Russians do affect battery life. The attys take a little bit longer to heat up, we tend to take longer draws on them, and they tend to run at higher watts than say a Mini PT2. For example. I run my Kayfun's "low" at 8.0 watts. I could never bring a Mini PT2 above 7.0 watts without burnt taste.

yep - i vape in the office with the Russian at about 8.0 watts... when i am in the car or at home it is at 10 or 10.5 watts on the MVP. The mini PT2 for me with rebuilt heads and cotton is good at 7.5 to 8.0 watts max.

I vape Evods at 7Watts - I got ~1100 fires from three different MVP2s 5 times total - very consistant

I vaped my MVP an entire cycle with my new KFL+ BE at 10 Watts - 940 fires - better than expected :thumb:

I think the number might climb a little on successive tests.
The first time I took giant draws for the first hour or so until got over-nic'ed
Now that the novelty's worn off I think I'm taking smaller draws that approximate the "hit" I get with Evods.
The Kayfun is a flavor monster so the same "hit" tastes so much stronger and cleaner.

stock evods with original small posts from last April/May vs 30g kanthal/CVS sterile cotton

I had the same problem. I unscrewed the bottom cap and pushed down on the coil until the center pin was flush with the bottom. I reassembled it and attached it to the MVP, and it fires without issue now. I noticed that the pin has receded a hair, but it's still making contact.

Love the avater Tom!

My spinners seem to push the center-pin on the T3Ss a little more than the MVP. If I take an ego topper off a spiner and put it on the MVP, it won't fire. I have to pull the pin a little and then I'm good to go. Pain in the ..., so I mostly just use my 510 tanks on the MVP. It's not really my walking around mod, so it's not much of a sacrifice.

hey whats up...?

just wanna say for the record-"My spinners seem to push the center-pin on the T3Ss a little more "

spinners don't push, You Do ;)

best advice is to 'look away' as you tighten any topper on
then just as you feel it touch, you're done...

never a need to over tighten, they are threaded on enuff they will never fall off

on occasion my PV qwit working, duh, tank is loose... (snug it back down, lightly)

I've been operating under the same assumption, but so far haven't found the 'sweet spot' on the spinner. It seems that if I get it to where it feels snug (I know not to overtighten) it won't fire on the MVP. I'm trying to adjust my definition of 'feels snug', though.

My JWraps is here! Wow they're quick!
I just had to get the R2D2 one, love them on MPVs!
They also threw me a freebie, the Biohazard one :O
BIG props to JWraps! Amazing customer treatment!

Now, I need to get one more MVP to wrap it in the biohazard wrap! xD
