One of the tanks I use is a kanger aero tank. Sometimes when it is snugged down on the mvp it won't fire. It actually starts working if I loosen it up a bit. Go figure.
Actually I've quit using it on the mvp and use it only on my zmax.

Actually a lot of people I have talked to have said to not screw the tank on too tight. Just screw on its snug. If it is on too tight you might be damaging the threading on your device. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Screw it down too tight and you could push the contact pin down into your mod, ego, etc...

I've been using my KFL+ on my MVP by snugging it, then raising the beauty ring to hold it.

I knew it did some sort of damage to your battery / mod. Good to know!! I can't say how much I love this device. I even tried vaping my EVOD 1100 mAH. Same juice, same voltage (3.7) but the vapor just wasn't there and the taste wasn't as full either.

Definitely thinking about another one, but also thinking of getting a mechanical after I do some more research. Decided to take baby steps first to understand VV/Vans what it can do for a juice.

Once you take baby steps, you won't go back to crawling.

My wife and I started and quit vaping in the cave man days of 2010. Tonight she said she always read about volts and vape and didn't get it until we got our MVPs. MVP quit charging and I missed VV/VW so much I bought an ego twist just to get me by. It is too long.

I want pocket size, at least VV, 10-12 hour life. I have a VV passthrough that is great on the road. Can't walk away with it. Several battery passthroughs with 1300mah under $30 but not VV. My only choice is a heavy MVP and a VV V3 at 800mah. At least with the VV3 I can passthrough on the road and have most of a day on foot. I ordered one tonight. I'll take the twist as the backup.

The super duper deals do go fast. Can you imagine how many of these Innokin is selling? Most of these vendors are restocking then immediately out of stock. We can at least be grateful production is high so everyone can get one!

And since many online retailers are running out of stock and ebay seems to be the place to go for goo deals we need a list of reputable ebay sellers selling authentic MVP2's. That way no one gets ripped off. Should we have a new thread??? Maybe have the OP edit the original post with a list?? Suggestions????

Reading this thread on a daily basis I see many people just getting into vaping picking up the MVP. Then I think why the heck did it take me a year to get into something better than ego batteries. Guess my baby steps were alot bigger and longer than others. LOL

I go from a baby crawling to an olympian runner with everything I do. Most of the time its expensive hobbies or interests but in the end the fast jump pays off finically. I save money instead of climbing the ladder to the better equipment, parts, etc....I think I brainwashed myself to believe this but hell...it works for me :D

If it were not for the great people on this site and this thread in particular, I may have stayed with my EVOD for a lot longer. It does a good job, but nothing like the MVP2. I use my EVODs as my back ups now.

I have purchased Innokin products from vapingtown2013 and all authenticated. He has a great rep as well. Other good one I have dealt with are ptorcivia, whole_ecigs_market. I don't think we can post ebay links here so be careful about specific auctions.

Its been said before and I myself was taken to task over this... but there is yet to be one case of a proven counterfit or cloned MVP. Fasttech and others bought large quantities of the MVP through third parties or shell companies. Innokin has a huge markup on these and they want the price set and will not allow authorized dealers to set a lower price. That is why you see so many discounts etc because they cant just outright lower the price. They use the authenticity seals as a means to control prices. If non-authentic MVPs exist lets see the pics/proof.

I agree. However keep in mind these are still at the whim of the factory where they are produced. Nike had a problem years ago. Nike shoes produced in a Nike plant, that were completed and defective, were sold out the back door instead of being destroyed. Many SVD problems have been reported. This could be the same situation. Are they authentic? Sure. Just rejects.

Not necessarily links to specific auctions. Just maybe a list of reputable sellers. I have been an ebay buyer and seller for 16 years and many, many things have changed over those years. I am real leery about buying anything that can be cloned or replicated and sold as authentic.

That is my biggest thing. I don't want vaping to turn into a hobby. I have a Harley. That is an expensive hobby. I am a home theater buff. Yet another expensive hobby. I also collect high end movie collectibles. No need for another expensive and time consuming hobby. It would totally take away from the whole purpose of vaping for me.

I feel your pain. 2 years ago I got into "wet shaving", (Essentially, shaving the way our grandfathers did with old vintage Gillettes, Ever-Readys, and GEMs.). It became very costly not only for the razors, but the shaving creams/soaps, brushes, etc. I love vaping, but I don't foresee it becoming a hobby like my shaving became with all the collectables, accessories, etc. I am happy with my MVP2 and it does everything I need it to do. Unless it breaks down on me, all I see needing is juice and an occasional burner. As you said, to chase the next big thing, would be counter-productive to part of the reason I got into vaping...namely, saving money. (Though health was my prime concern.)
