I was messing around with coil builds yesterday, and made another 0.8 coil, didn't realize the extra piece I grabbed was a 28 gauge wrapped 5 times around my mini flat head screw driver. But I did vape a ml of juice on the mvp. Then got rid of the coil, I was afraid I was going to blow up my mvp...lol I think I still have alot to learn,

I am now happy with my new coil build of 1.9ohms , 32 gauge wire wrapped 5 times nicely spaced apart :)

I

Not sure how the mvp 2 performs under 1 ohm but at 3.3 volts a .8 ohm coil fires at over 13 watts. Psardo shows the mvp 2 fire a 1ohm coil at 3.3 volts but that's also at its 11 watt max and slightly over 3 amps.

Got my mvp in the mail yesterday(first vapemail lol), huge improvement on the ego i was using for the last week. Didn't get the aerotank mini i ordered, did get my igo-l tho so i might give that a try first. This evod is preforming soo much better than it did, cant wait to try the aero or the igo-l.

Welcome to the club, SneakyBob! What color did you get?

I saw that video before I purchased my MVP, I almost didn't buy it because he said the button was hard to push (witch I fully agree with, I hate it..lol ) anyway as far as vaping at 0.8ohms I was messing with the volts setting and only stayed no more than 3.6 volts, Like I said I didn't want to keep using it, I have no clue really on the ohms things. I like to keep things very simple thats why I own the ego's and mvp and not a mod that looks like a flashlight....lol

Do you use a wall plug in or a computer to charge? Some usb drives are slower than others and some wall plug ins dont offer enough amperes check if it is at least 500mA

Tried USB and wall charger.
It flashes as normal but the green light then goes off and no, it's not got a full battery.
Charged fine last time and the girlfriends is working in both charging environments without a problem.
I've just noticed a smell from the charging port, reminds me of a cap-gun, so I'm thinking it's had it.

Well look at wall charger, i use a 1A to make sure. Try google, search your symptoms

Tried 3 chargers, different sockets, different USB's. The chargers are fine, just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and how long the devices are actually lasting before kicking it.
The itaste v 3.0 didn't even last 6 months so if that's how long they're generally lasting then fine, wouldn't buy any more.

Two month owner on an MVP 2.0 here. Still lovin' it. It was an incredible upgrade from a 650mah eGo. In a month or so, I'll be making a mech mod purchase, but less for sub-ohming and more for durability, and form factor with bigger RBAs. But I've got a funny story to tell.

I was gaming with a buddy who was teasing me about all the stuff I lug around with me when I'm away from home. I keep my MVP, a couple spare tanks, bottles and charger in a cigar box. He a never-smoker and the whole ecig thing is just bizarre to him. So as soon as he gets done making fun of my funny looking machine, he pulls out his cell phone and asks if I have a wall charger for his cell phone handy. I told him to hand me his cell phone and I plug it in to my MVP.

He says "okay, that is cool." I took a hit and agreed, intentionally dramatic like. Now when other people walk up to our table and ask what that thing is, I tell them it's a big battery for my ecig and my buddy say "yeah, you can charge a cell phone with that thing too."

Hmmm, I'll keep that seller in mind then. Did it actually ship from California? The only reason I ask is because I've seen that some shady sellers end up drop-shipping from China or something, even though their eBay account says they're located in the States.

I'm not too concerned with the Nano kit, but $28 for the atty itself is a screaming deal...I just get a little nervous about the "if it seems too good to be true..." thing ;)

Yes.. It shipped from Walnut, CA.. It left the 30th, and I received it on the 2nd.

Ya, $28 is very good. I only got the Nano 'cause it was only $12 more for a kit others were starting at $15 or so for. The Nano kit is also by EHPro and fits very well and includes an extra drip tip, the full nano tank, the short tube, a spare chimney, and 2 spare o-rings. Seems he's running low on the clear one though.

Any case, up to you. Always make sure you are comfortable with the seller. I took a chance :)

I think there was a problem with the charging port on some of the earlier V1's. Don't know if it is relevant ?

Note, its kinda speculation at this point.. as just about every thing is, at this point.

This is my main forum and you folks are my vaping family so please forgive the :offtopic:

Have had my Kayfun for 2 months and love it. Recently been adding pure VG to my 50/50 to cut the throat hit and make juice last longer ( Thanx Sando7 ) BUT... The thickness is stopping my KFL from wicking as well as it used too.

My question is 2 fold, Should I cut the juice with some kind of thinner like distilled water ( popping sounds ) or should I make the channels on the KFL deeper, wider?

2nd time I had dry burnt hit when the tank is 3/4 full...any ideas are welcome

I've always wondered that if you mark your chimney at where it lines up with the channels, would slightly filing those spots allow more flow to the wicks? I havent tried yet as I dont have a problem yet..

yep there is a simple solution, quit cutting your 50/50 mix for the KF.... you can add all the VG you want when dripping, this was what i suggested

edit: let me get this straight are you adding more VG to your 50/50 mix for the KF?....if so use the solution above......if not set some reg store bought juice aside for your Tanks only and cut it by 1/3 instead....also use a measuring device when cutting instead of eyeballing it.

i use 50/50 mix in my KF and all my Tanks and Carto's without probs....it also helps to dry-burn & rewick your coil on a reg basis
