I have searched and searched but can't remember (CRS - can't remember dog doo) who posted about building a spring for a mechanical mod out of copper picture hanging wire. Anyone remember who or would the person please either post or PM me? thought it was Capt, but nope, not him... Herb?????? Thanks!

Yeah....uhmmm....(sheepishly raises hand)....uh guilty here. Did the O-ring fix on my MVP2 and my VV. Then tried it on my MVP1 and the pin started to stick so I pulled too hard and POP. I was able to break it down and re-solder the wire to the pin though......

So....now you can say you have heard of one case of it happening, but it was some dunbass that was being impatient and not taking his time.

Your being too hard on yourself , i prefer ( shi_ for brains ) over (dumbass ) myself but i could see how some might prefer 'dumbass' just a matter of preference.

Being an MVP lover I always wanted to try the "Big Boy" aka VTR. Today only 06/24/14 until 11:59 pm pacific time there is a flash sale bringing the price down to $51.01 shipped! Darn close to MVP price! At checkout use FLASH30. Other mods and APVs at 30% off as well.

The VTR is bigger and (a lot) heavier. But IMO, weighing in at nearly one pound... (13 oz) it's not my fav. Works well, but really *heavy*. MVP has a 2600 mah batt and the VTR takes an 18650 (not included). So if you add the new 3400 mah batt (not included)... lasts a loooong time. Comes with an adapter if your clone tank doesn't fit it.

I just got the MVP v2 for $35.90 shipped from Electronic Cigarettes, Vaping Supplies, and Tasty Juice - Vaping Me they have all three colors in right now. Use promo code REDDIT and it comes to $35.90 shipped. I was going to buy it from FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics but then I saw it so cheap at vapingme.com They were out of them yesterday but it said they restock every Tuesday at 3p.m. Texas time. Can't beat that cheaper than FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics and you don't have to wait a month for shipping.

I have a little mech that I made a bottom contact spring out of copper house wire. Not too springy but makes a nice contact.
