P.S. Kiwi.... for my kanger heads, I wrap about 8-9 wraps of 30g around a 1/16" drill bit. Pretty much always 1.8-1.9Ω, but MAKE SURE TO TEST BEFORE you physically fire the button (when you hold the P and U buttons together on the MVP, it will give you the resistance reading - looks like "A x.x", and then it shows the charge level left on the battery "U x.x")

P.P.S. Here are a couple links on rebuilding:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coil-builds/432047-my-bad-pictorial-evod-rewicking-cotton-recoiling.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/brookj1986/6066-simple-protank-coil-replacement.html

I learned A LOT from them :)

There's something I don't get... Why make 8/9 wraps of 30 ga if you can do 4 of 32 ga and reach the same ohms? Plus, takes a lot more to heat up, primer puffs and everything...

Good question. (Bearing in mind that common sense doesn't always make sense) I'm thinking...

Thicker wire 9 wraps = wider area covering wick = more clouds. (Flavor + or - = debateable)
Thinner wire 4 wraps = less heat area to wicks + burns out and dies faster (Flavor + or - = debateable)

I've tried both, and the 30g vape seems "smoother" or "silkier" to me. I feel like I can play more with the wattage settings, as I'm less likely to burn juice than on 32g. Heck, maybe I'm just hallucinating it all :D

Glad to hear it arrived and that you're enjoying it. I wouldn't worry about keeling over unless I quit posting abruptly . I agree it fluffs up better than cotton. Pretty sure that's why my wicking issues have disappeared on the Kayfun/Russian equipment. I've got it in my cheapo Squid RDA which works fine but I see a Magma RDA in my near future. Now that the disability retirement has been approved it's time to loosen up the purse strings for some new toys! :vapor:

the Magma is a superior RDA flavor-wise it do have some leaking probs tho, which can be fixed quite easily with an O-ring...

(not using it on the MVP)...it tends to leak at the seam & the airholes when filling it....it stops once the wicking material is saturated......i just put a napkin over the airholes while filling, along with the added o-ring & ShaZam we got a Winner.....works great with either a single Parallel coil or reg dual coils; and you can go pretty low with it if ya want.....i been using 26ga at about 0.4 to 0.5 with good results.

rite now i got my Nimbus on my MVP and it kicks tail with 30 ga

edit at 9:42 pm, where the heck is everybody tonight?
guess there all out :rickroll:

Finally got all my stuff in to begin my foray into MECH land and preparing to start building coils for my Magma clone. Question. Is there much difference between coils of the same resistance using diff Kanthal ex 28ga vs 32ga? I do realize that they'll heat at different rates due to mass and size differences.

Being absent for a week I'm somewhat surprised to find I'm only 21 pages behind here! I'm weak as a kitten and still trying to catch up on email and FB too so it may take me awhile. Just wanted ya'll to know I got home yesterday despite the best efforts of the medical industry (see pics below). Folks are starting to get their rayon samples and I'm still more than willing to send out more. Thanks to all for the kind thoughts!

The left arm they just used for IV's and such. The right they tried to get a vein out of but said it was too damaged from a previous angioplasy. So they tore up my right leg too!
I would have liked your post considering youre back, but a recovery from all that has to suck. Good to see youre still kicking!

I hope you heal fast my friend, that ain't no fun at all.

I had 3 vascular surgeries femoral to femoral crossover, 2 of those and an aorta bi femoral, that one almost killed me, but here I am, still kickin'
Looked like a Frankenstein movie with all the staples after the surgery.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, not sure about the new tile & furniture here...

it looks good - clean, vivid, clear

but I don't like how it shrinks the playing field

big end zones with a 60 yard field

I like the standard end zones with the full 100 yard field in the middle (ECF-2)

maybe there is some tricks included that I haven't found yet, but for now,

think I'll stick with the old...
