hey Pufz, look what i saw today rite here, the lowest price i've seen yet on this one....don't know how long it's gonna last tho
Dovpo E-LVT Firestone Waterproof Vape Mod Kit $39.99

yepper, seen that and have been watching it for about 2 weeks

also believe evolv /innokin will surely keep it competitive

looked at the MVP he was holding/using VERY CLOSE

but it looked very standard :D

but of all the devices he could use
kinda warmed my heart to see he carried an MVP...

OK cool thanks! I've been looking into rta's, specifically the kayfun lite. Just trying to figure out if its worth it and what ohm coils would work best. Running a nautilus and nautilus mini right now with the new bvc coils and they are pretty damn good.

There's a pbusardo video that I just saw (earlier in this thread?) where he goes over the MVP thoroughly as he's known to do. When he gets to the "numbers part" of the video and shows the MVPs recorded volt/watt/ vs ohm performance....it seemed to really give you what you set it at when running a 2.0 ohm coil. I'll look to see if I can find it and post it for you.

Here it is. He goes over it's output numbers starting at about the 12:50 mark

You know, while I like cats im more of a dog guy. But Ive got to say- cats are just pros at taking cool pictures...

Just FYI, I charged the MVP off my cell phone charger block ONCE and now it wont go above 4.1volts when I charge (even when charging off the laptop). I believe someone else mentioned having the same problem. Anyone else with this issue?

Ill throw up (an unfortunately catless) picture of my MVP later :vapor:

seems like a very good choice, I've been eyeballin` that too...

when you read all about it, sounds like it has magic dust inside
the last version never had many complaints...

(be nice if it had a USB out)

and how could ya go wrong for under $30

:)
Yup. Works great.
And FWIW, you haven't lived until u plugged a batt into a charger (the old nitecore) and it didn't work!!! Wiggling got it going, but letz not forget a backup charger as well!

But never thot of a usb on it. That wood bee awesum!!!

yepper, the wiggle bothers me...

you can buy a USB A/C wall adapter $3-$4 so they could just add it
and jack the price up a buck or two...

haha, yes back-up charger would be a must...

ever take one of those A/C adp apart ?
more tech inside than the Apollo 11 had
... :D

I have a question about the vv/vw ceiling on this bad boy. The unit has a 3amp amd 5v/11w limit. So using the ohm calculator if I'm using a 1.9ohm coil and set it for 5v the wattage should be 13w but because of the 11w max it will just run at 5v/11w?? That just under 3amps. On the flip side if I set it at 11w it will run at 4.5v?
Also if I throw in a 1.6ohm coil will it not run higher then 4.8v even if I set it 5v because of the 3amp limit?

Thanks in advance for helping this noob out! ;-)

It will top out at 11w and 4.57v... you cannot go over 11w, or 3amps, or 5v.. which ever you hit first is your limit. IE: If you had a 2.5ohm coil, the max you could go is 10w as it takes 5v to get there and 5v is a hard limit. Conversely, if you have a 1.2ohm coil, you could only do 3.6v because anything higher goes past both the 11w limit and the 3amp limit. It doesnt matter what mode you are in, these are hard limits.

OK so volts and watts are not independent of each other. Both values along with amps need to be under the max. So on my 1.8 coil that reads 1.9 if I set volts to 5 it will only run at 4.57 because that is the 11w max. I think I got it now. Thanks a bunch!

Exactly. In fact volts and watts are totally dependant (along with ohms, of course)! You can set one of them but not both and as Midniteowl stated, the hard limits of the device will limit the output if you're asking more of it that it can give. The pbusardo video that I posted earlier explains this pretty well....but I think you've got it. :thumb:

Well can't add much but wanted to say something! When I started vaping it was with Dekang juices. The flavors were too strong and the nic was to high so I'd mix in 25% Walmart VG. That would get me down to 18 nic and the flavor to where I could handle it. Plus it was cheap compared to a lot of the designer type juices.

Dekang E-Juice 24mg

30 AWG wire showed up yesterday. Waiting on the Magma RDA and another Russian clone from Fasttech. A Hana clone and big Nautilus with bvc replacements coming too.

hey great, welcome to the big ta-do , MVP world...

what color ya get ? / 2 i16 or 1 i30 ?

life is better with an MVP :D

Thanks :)

I bought a black one with 1 i30

Not sure how much I will use the i30. I have many different tanks that I love already. I like my tank cracker juices and prefer the glass tanks.
