Just a quicky. When I take my MVP off of an overnight charge the battery reads 4.2v. I take about two puffs and it is at 4.1v. It stays there for a while, and for ages at 4.0v before it starts to drop. Is mine unusual in dropping so quickly from 4.2?

Apart from that this thing hasn't been out of my hand since I got it (well, ok, not in the bathroom). :)

Mine is the same way. I've asked this question as well and the general consensus is that it's normal behavior for lithium ion batteries.

Perfectly normal behavior from a LiPO battery. Mine does the sam.

I think i'll start charging mine once it moves from yellow to red, green to yellow seems a little premature.

I'm on pace to reach my goal of 1 week in between charges.

LiPO batteries are much happier when kept at a higher state of charge. You may actually be extending the batteries life by more frequent charges.

what is the difference between the regular mvp 2.0 and the MVP Energy 2.0 besides the multi-color printed box?

The Energy comes with the new and matching I-Clear 16 Bottom Coil. Other than that just the print.

Anyone know a cheap place to get wraps?

This is normal. 4.2 is considered a full charge and as per the normal discharge curve of a LiPo battery it drops to 4.1 almost immediately.

Remember to that the unit will display 4.1 as soon as it goes below 4.2. This means 4.199 also displays as 4.1, and since the battery stops discharging 4.2 exactly, it doesn't take much for it to drop to where it will display 4.1.

My button fell out of my Mvp1
Best fix recommendation please
Thanks

Had it happen to mine and I ended up supper gluing it back on and it worked but I lost all tactile feel to the button. If I were to do it again, I would just set the button in place and put a wrap of packaging tape around it. It will be ugly but should work well. You could always cover it with a wrap to pretty it up. Best of luck.

Checking in to the MVP group. Proud owner of a MVP v2.

Best tip / trick for the MVP is to fix the wobble of the output switch on the bottom, just take a pen and press on the button a little and it sink into the body of the MVP and will be flush with the bottom. Takes about 1-2 minutes and minimal effort. Problem solved.

Maybe we can get a list of tanks (i.e. Protank II) ohm head (i.e. 1.8 ohm, 2.2 ohm, and 2.5 ohm) and your wattage setting in variable wattage mode and in variable voltage mode

I was using a 2.5 ohm head reading at 2.6 ohm with a sweet spot for eliqcube 50/50 juice at 6.5 watt variable watt mode

I'm now on a 1.8 ohm head reading at 2.0 ohm on the reader same juice at 8.0 watt

Btw here's my black MVP with a Protank II on my MacBook

I am using a Vivi nova 2.5 ml tank on my MVP2 works fine. Have had other problems with the MVP but not in regard to tanks. Even an older, smaller ego tank worked on it while I was having my vivi repaired.
In regard to changing the settings on my MVP2..even when following the directions, I most often cannot get them to change. I have a2.4 now and u 4.1 and no matter how I press the buttons right now, they will not change.

Last night, my MVP2 just died.Would not charge. No matter what charger I tried. Just another mini usb from my samsung galaxy phone. Just before it died, I remember it felt a little warm. I then plugged it into the wall with it's original charger and the end usb main plug for my phone. It got so hot I thought it would start a fire or explode, saw the digital display a couple times, then it was dead for good. I was worried the store wouldn't replace it. I have read Inoken has a 3 month warranty on this product and the distributor should just exchange it. Though I have also seen people get screwed over at stores (reading posts) that claimed a 14 day warranty. I had bought this on Black Friday. I am happy to say I brought it back to the House of Vapor in Kenmore NY today and they replaced it no questions asked. Other than they felt bad they didn't have black, only silver. Not an issue for me. They said that this is not just a battery in the sense of the word an e cig battery is used and they would replace up to 6 months. Nice, I got it for $30 since it was black friday (wa sin line at 5:30 am), and it retails 79.99. I just have to figure, still, how to increase settings, even on the brand new one it won't let me. It will show me settings, but not let me increase them.
I got some advice too. Should charge in a wall if you see yellow. It is NOT a true passthrough..that is right in the instruction booklet (though on the inoken site it says passthrough next to the product picture). The cord is a little short for that, unless you are using in the usb port of a tower or laptop right next to you..do not pull it taught if the charging source is 18 in away. Get a longer micro usb cord on ebay for 1.50 shipped. The new ones should NOT have the problem of the power input falling inside of the housing anymore...if that happens and where you bought it gives you a problem, Inoken will exchange directly.

The vapor shop I go to gave me a whole pack for free. 12 random designs and pre cut holes. Most stores shouldn't charge more than $2. If you spend a lot where you go, you should ask for some free. I took a pic of the pack of wraps..sys here said pic was too big. I added pic of my silver MVP wrapped in red. It's not perfectly even, I am not real patient or crafty, but the size is right.

Well the transition from yellow to red wasn't as long as I expected. I got about 5.5 days including all the tinkering in the beginning so it's a good start. I'll hope for 6-7 w/ my normal routine.
