Just ordered one of these, should be here tomorrow. Very excited.

I was set on the Vamo for a while because admittedly I'm not fond of the box mod look.
However seeing as it's only £35.99 and has VV/VW, voltage regulation that's said to be akin to provari, huge battery life, as well as pass through and charging feature I just could not pass on it. I guess it's a two edge sword as it's a propriety battery, on one hand you don't need to keep switching batteries. However on the other hand, if you run out of charge and you're not near a power supply or USB then you're screwed. I'll just make sure to keep it charged. Even if it lasts a year it works out insanely cheap. I'm most excited to have the vape consistency. I've really started to notice my Ego batteries are starting to lose life (after only 10 days from new) and really decline about 1/2 or even a 1/3 through the charge.

Got it from myepack for 35.99 and and also 20ml of cherry and it came to £40 with free shipping, great deal!!

All in all I'm very excited, I'm just hoping VV/VW will make a big difference to my vape going from a standard Ego battery (not even a twist or spinner). It should do.

Excited to try the Iclear 30 clearo too. They're worth £10 alone.

I do like my mini protank but find it very airy and
I like a warmer vapour myself. I much prefer the standard CE4's I got with my Ego's in that respect.

As the Iclear is top coil as well as me being able to adjust the wattage,
hopefully I will get a much tighter, warmer draw.

hi matty
you know there are two types of people in this world
ones that like box-mods, and then the rest... ☻

have you ever held an MVP ?
you're gonna be surprised and fall in love (I'm guessin)

always have been, and still am a big kanger bcc fan
but wanted to expand a little and went with these... ;)

I would think there are just as many women vapers as there are men. Innokin is smart enough to realize it so their new shine series sounds like a winner and I have no issue with them at all and I'm a guy.

exactly!

my first mvp was an energy series petal version.... for the wife.

now to accrue some vape budget while waiting on the shine series... for the maternal parental unit.

Hi puf.

Haha that is true. I still feel they look very strange, I prefer the sleeker look myself but I'm not going to knock it until I try it. Especially as no, I've never held one. I think what really sold me was the ....pulse modulation is it? A consistent vape is a must for me, I hate running low on my Ego and getting dry hits and lack of flavour. And I hope you can assure me that the VV/VW will really increase the throat hit, vapour and taste over a standard Ego. That is key.

I've looked into the Viva's and they are certainly next on my list. Going to try the Iclear when I get it first, might be my ideal clearo, who knows. I'm not sure if all BCC's have an airy draw like the Protanks etc but it's too airy for me. I never really sucked a rollie hard but it's certainly more airy than I'd like. Obviously the downside to a top coil is the wicking. However I certainly put a lot of importance on a warm vapour and tight draw so maybe they are for me, while the BCC's aren't. A little to premature to say as I've only tried the MPT2, they are probably not all like that.

One thing I'd like to ask is what resistance is the atty in the Iclear's you get in the MVP kit? Was just wondering if a higher resistance and higher wattage/voltage is superior to a low resistance and lower voltage/wattage

I am getting a lot more familiar with things now but am still unclear how a lower/higher resistance lower/higher voltage or wattage affect the vape.

Thanks, I certainly will do. I said this would turn into a hobby didn't I . 11 days in and on my first APV already :)

In 11 days Vaping (kits, APV, Juices etc.) I've spent what I'd spend on tobacco in 4 months lol. I only spent £28 a month on tobacco. But you know what, I don't give a damn. I'm enjoying it so much :)

It will, it's like night and day.

That's what I like to hear, going to crank that baby up to 8 watts (should be safe with a 2-2.2ohm atty?) and then find my sweet spot

Are you better getting a high resistance atty and having a higher W/V than having a low resistance and low L/W?

I presume not as obviously lower resistance gives a bigger throat hit and visa versa. Just thought I'd ask.

I wasn't really happy with the iclear, just didn't wick fast enough for me. Had to keep tipping it, and turning it to soak all the wicks after every couple of hits. I'm much happier with the mini PT2 or Boge cartos. Cartos at home, mini PT2 in the car and at work.

Theoretically, with variable wattage it doesn't matter what resistance the coil is... except that the MVP maxes out at 5 volts... which means it can't reach higher wattage with higher resistance coils. On my Darwin, I prefer 3Ω coils, but the Darwin can go up to 13 volts. On the MVP, you're better off with 2Ω coils.

I do like the PT because of it's pyrex tank and the flavour blew my head off after using a CE4. But I just find the draw too airy, not terribly, but more than it should be. I find the vapour a bit cool too, I prefer a warmer draw. Going by that I'll probably be a Top coil guy but that's only going by one clearo. Also when I've got VV/VW I should be able to get a warmer draw.

I'm looking into the Vivi but going to see what the Iclear is like and if that's airy and cool too then I suspect a top coil is the way I need to go.

The Protank was superior in most aspects to the standard CE4's. Vapour, flavour, ergonomics, replaceable heads etc. But the draw and vapour heat was far better on the CE4 for me personally.

I like to feel a little resistance when I take a toot and a little warmth, much like a real cig. The PT was too airy and cool for me.

Will have to look into cartos. Heard you can get much better flavour.

Well, I'm a girl and I love the new shine series.
I hope someone posts when they find them available for purchase.
I messaged the guy on Ebay who has the Energy Series for $40.99 shipped.
I love love love my MVPs.
Pat

I also want to know when these are available. Please update if you hear anything.

Got ya.

Will probably start it off at 6.5 watts and move it up to find my sweet spot. Will be a massive improvement on my Ego. I'm already finding the hit a little lacking now. Need more power lol.

You could always try putting a small piece of clear tape over the air holes in the base of the mini PT2. That will tighten up the draw. Try it for a few days, and if you like it better that way, you could probably permanently close them off by filling the holes with a heat resistant epoxy.
I prefer a warmer vape as well, which is why I prefer Boge cartos at home. Nice and warm at 10.5 watts, great flavor, and tons of vapor. Too much of a pain to frequently refill when out though, and I find the carto tanks to be too big for my taste.

Yeah I'm glad I got it tbh. Was really torn between it and the Vamo and I do much prefer the Vamo's looks. However I think the MVP is the much more solid device. Better build quality, no rattlesnacking, no switching batteries, huge battery life, charging feature. I'm sure I'll love it's looks too when I get it. You know how it is though, will probably end up getting the Vamo or the SVD down the road :). Will be a while though, not much need when I'll have a proper AVP. Other than shineitis :)

A lot of my mates who vape told me to get a spinner or twist, and I thought no, will just do it properly and get a proper solid AVP.

Can't wait to vape my fav Blueberry juice with it :vapor:

Yeah I have looked into that, will end up doing it. I don't know why they make it so airy, from what I can tell all the PT's and Ts3's etc suffer with the same thing.

I have 3 VV V3's and love them but I've been thinking of the MVP2 because of it's 2600 mAh.

My worry...that I won't be able to become accustomed to (or comfortable with) it's box shape and it's heavy (compared to the V3) weight.

Am I over-thinking this???

After using my vv v3 I actually like the weight and solid feel of the MVP. I like mine a lot and actually find it rather comfortable in my hand.

No way are there as many women vapers as there are men. I bet it isn't even close. In america 21.6% of adult men smoke but only 16.5% of adult women. I would bet that the numbers are at least as disparate for vapers or even more so as guys really love gadgets and women not as much.

But don't get me wrong, I think the new series is just great and will appeal to many. Just not this guy.

What your looking for is a kanger T2. Just trust me and give one a try. They are only about $5 US.

Not necessarily overthinking it. I too was not immediately drawn to the box mod look and was a little intimidated by the size/weight issue. And even though I still wish it were a little lighter and smaller (it's not really pocket-friendly, for me anyway), the benefits of the form factor outweigh the drawbacks. For me the best benefit is that it almost never falls down and, if it does it can't roll. I never realized what a great "feature" this was until I owned my MPV. I almost exclusively use glass tanks. You're used to your V3s not rolling I'm sure but you'll enjoy being able to set your MVP almost anywhere and knowing it's not going to tip over. I still ogle shiny, sexy tube mods when I see them...but than I remember how annoying it is not being able to just set them down anywhere and I take a hit from my frumpy MVP... :)

maybe. i did.

i wanted batteries i could swap out, so i put the mvp on the back burner. now i have 2 of them. one for the wife and one for my dad. the mvp 2 is their all day device. they never run out of battery and it fits both of them just fine. the wife even didn't want one because she wanted something smaller. thanks to budget constrictions, we went with the mvp for her and she no longer feels the need for something smaller. everyone loves their mvp's. i even secretly want one for myself.
