I have used my battery up, but only after charging my phone and vaping all day.
The LI battery needs to be used completely up at least 1x a month
so it'll reset the battery's memory to what a full charge should be, like all your portable devices ;)

that's not true, no need to dis-charge the MVP battery
actually it does it more harm than good
the polymer Li-Ion battery has NO MEMORY
Li-Ion likes to be active, so charging is good...

:)

sure, same thoughts here

but the i30 is only like $7-$10 so figure if you can or can't fix it-no big deal
you can work on it with out harm to MVP...

try to wiggle the i30 pin out
screw it on MVP and see if it reads Ω's (base only)
keep trying till you fix it or give up... ;)

- $8.28 Authentic Innokin iClear 30 Dual Coil Cleaomizer (3.0ml) - translucent at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Wanted to say that I "fiddled" with the iClear30 tank and finally got it to make a connection with my MVP. And guess what, I think I like the flavor and vapor I get from my dinky little Evod tanks a lot better! At least I know that it works, but I will probably pass it along to someone who really likes them. Thanks for your help and good suggestions.:)

You might ask one of the more advanced users because I have heard complaints of the center pin (it has a spring) not making a connection with some tanks. It may be just an issue of fiddling with the pin some so you get a better connection. The iClear 30's are "ok" but it mutes the flavor of the juice too much for me. I use a Protank, Aerotank, or my one Nautilus (my fiancée swiped my 2nd one lol)

I tried to like the i16 & i30, but they just are a NO GO for me...

the evod and T3S - then the big and little vivi novas
are my topper tanks of choice...

I like the MVP2 for the fact that it fits into my left handed ways. When charging it off my laptop it sits on my left side and the cord is out of my way. I approve of the bottom charger port location and do not wish for a side port that has been requested here earlier. Picking it up from the side (digital display facing up) while charging is a plus for this lefty, it's there for me and always has a full charge while surfing the webs. It's very ergonomical for me, an easier way from cigarettes.

Thank you for your reply, and I'm glad I'm not the only one "ascared" of messing with things.:) I think I will just keep on with my normal motto: If it works, don't fix it, and keep using my Evods that work well, and forget about my free iClear that doesn't work.

I would hate to break my wonderful MVP trying to use a tank that I got for free.:)

It is absolutely no big deal to wiggle the center pin up a little but if you don't want to mess with anything you can just slap a 510/ego connector on and all tanks will work fine.

I'm pretty certain, although my wife has known me to be wrong on many occasions!

Because the women are smarter.

You don't ever want to drain these batteries ALL the way down and they are happiest at a higher state of charge.

Agreed, not a fan of iclears either. Love my evods and mini protanks, and will be sticking to those for a long time. To me they're just incredibly easy to fill, very easy to rebuild heads (just took my old head collection and built 4 new heads for future use), light, and most of all, they work swell.

I was a huge fan of Mini PT's and Evod's as well until I got my first Kayfun. Sold off all my Mini PT 2's. I have a single PT2 and two Mini PT 1's and 5 heads as extreme emergency backups.

The Kayfun is big, bulky, and no where near as sleek as the Kangers, but they are much easier for me to rebuild and the flavor is off the chart for me.

I can actually enjoy my 0mg juices from a Kayfun. The PT's were like vaping nothing.....

Actually, what I did was to screw the "beauty ring" on to the MVP and then screw the iClear30 on. Then the iClear made a connection and worked. I didn't know that the beauty ring would make a difference. I thought it was cosmetic, and just for looks. I guess it is for function, too.

Anyhow, I did get the iClear to perform, and like I said, decided that I did not like it as well as my Evods.

Agnes Black, you described it for me. I didn't like the "muted flavor" with the iClear30.

The air holes on the ring may be too small. I have noticed some restriction on the MVP using the ring. I am considering enlarging them.

that's great....

proper procedure would be :

screw beauty ring on fully (no need to be tight)
then screw on the topper tank (i30) just till it's snug/touches
then hold the tank & screw the beauty ring back UP to touch the tank--
that provides support for the big tank with little 510 threads...

(if this does not work, then beauty ring to tall for tank being used)

I'm another one who loves my Kanger tanks. I have the MT3S, the mini protank and two PT3's and they are my favorites. I can't wait to get an Aerotank, and would like to try a Nautilus as well, just because so many people love it. I just don't get the same thing from my Innokin tanks.

I'm trying to move to glass tanks only. (I'm not comparing these to the fancy tanks and atomizers, just to the i30 and i30B I have).
