Lefty here. My RSST coils I wind my normal direction but found that AGA-T2 need to be wound the opposite direction to line up the leads with the mount locations with a vertical coil over the wick hole. I use 30ga 6 over for 1.5-1.7Ω on a 5/64 drill.

LOL! You just made me dig out the AGA-T2 Paul! It's wrapped counter- (anti- as the folks would say) clockwise. Don't remember what gauge I used around some cotton ball wick @ 2.2 ohm and now it's sitting on the MVP. Did you drill out the air hole? Cuz I'm thinkin' I could put this thing back in service with more air flow...

Nice, what does the hybrid kit do?
I still only have my Turtleship V2 clone, but I love the .41 ohm build on the Stillare I just got. just rewicked and dripping some Mothers Milk...Heaven

post a pic bro

The hybrid kit allows you to loose the air control ring and 510 connection. So your atty connects directly to your battery, for less of a voltage drop and nice compact look!

hello there folks,
Cloupor dna 30 w/Zenith rda/ MVP w/Mini Tower RDA drilled out to 1/16th

man i'm a happy camper the DNA30 is awesome and the T.O.L./ELM hits like a beast....the collection is growing :vapor:

Let me know how that Cloupor works out for ya! I've been eyeballing the vaporShark and the Cana Modz box mods. I like the idea of the Cloupor for under $70 much better!

Update . Got mine about a week ago. Love it. So, I'm down in Fla to visit friends and family. Old friend haven't seen in years ( the guy who always tries to one up you) had started vaping about a month ago, great right? "Here come check my stuff out, I've got the best device you can get" (eye roll) So he shows me mods, he's got a Tesla and some other baseball bats. Couple of pro tanks and some other vape shop clones. 24 nic gas station juices. ( This is a guy driving a Benz mind you) Takes a couple of drags and passes it. Not bad. "here Mike try this"I say. Hand him my MVP with a iclear30 and some Ahlusion strawberry vanilla cake @6 nic . I can't describe the look!!! Spent the rest of the night ordering juice and an MVP

Can I get an AMEN
AMEN!!!! To both the MVP and Ahlusion juice!

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

When I got the RSST I read other people liked a 5/64 air hole so I drilled mine out and it whistled so that the wife and dogs were bothered by it. Then I got a used one that was already drilled. I ended up getting the adjustable ones from madvapes and gave them to the wife because of the rubber fill plug. The T2s I have left alone and you can't go back once drilled.

Drilled the T2 to 1/16 and rewicked with cotton. Ran a tank through it this evening. It vaped pretty darn good, if I kept the wick completely submerged. No whistle but it really drank the juice. If it just wasn't so angle of dangle dependent...

Well, it says its 510 threaded which means it will use the inside threads on the MVP.. What I believe your problem is, is your center pin on the tank is not 'low' enough to make contact. If you can, find a fine screw driver, or what I use, the file on a nail clipper, and gently pry the center pin on the MVP up a little and try again.

I didn't hear the whistle either but it is in a range that dogs and my wife can hear. Maybe I'll try 1/16 on one of them.

Yeah it is a bit of a pain to keep the whole thing aligned with the wick down and slightly tilted. So are top coils that you have to twirl. Rayon wick helps but doesn't eliminate it. Still better than dripping IMO.

This is probably the best place to ask this, I'm thinking about upgrading to a mvp v2 from a vv kangertech (ego twist basically) I keep getting mixed answers on other forums since the max wattage is 11. My goal is to get a kayfun for the mvp, since I'm tired of kanger coils being so inconsistent. Why is having only 11 watts a bad thing? I don't plan on sub-ohming. Does anyone have an mvp with a kayfun? Does it work well?
have had my kayfun for 2 months on my MVP and use it exclusively. I have a 1.3 ohm coil and set it at 3.7 volts. I also use a higher VG content, 70/30 VG/PG. the taste is night and day to clearos IMHO.

Best flavor and vapor production that any other topper I have tried and works fantastic on the MVP.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I don't plan on sub-ohming. I just like the fact that the mvp lasts a longtime, Easy to use, VV/VW, ohm meter. I like the kayfun because it's a rebuildable tank. Thanks for the help I'll be placing my order soon.
the kayfun is a tad big on the MVP but its about the best u can get with the mvp. my mvp sits at my vape station with a kayfun n I use it while ive got my other stuff broken down rebuilding or what ever has my mods decommissioned. used to be my daily untill I brought my VTR as the VTR is a tad more pocket sized only problem is lots of tanks dont fit on it plus its double the price

That looks awesome, I will definitely be getting that when I finally pull the trigger on the copper Nemi.
