After using 28 gauge for micro coils for the kayfun it seems to be working very well , at first i thought it was too thick but they have been working great . I use the 30 and 32 gauge for Pro tank rebuilds , the 30 gauge seems to be ideal for both builds , not liking the 32 much , too thin.

I have been messing with 34ga and that stuff is hard to work with

so thin, and it’s tuff to build the ohms I want due to amount of wraps required

but boy, it heats QWIK !

guess I shoulda commented
still trying to make up my mind, but whether it’s a RDA, bcc, kayfun - with MVP or
an ego stick, thinner wire provides better results… IMO (testing in progress)
now with a high output device (vamo, zmax, DNA 20, etc) don’t make no matter ;)

so I am confused by the various new EVODs out
Kanger EVOD glass 4 window & EVOD glass 2 window, then EVOD 2 ?
-the way it goes, I think, EVOD glass, come in 2 or 4 windows, glass lined,
removeable tip, but it also has a ‘base’ not unlike the mini protank
tall slender ego threads, with ‘air in holes’ very high at the top of base…
-then the EVOD 2, it is just like old evod without glass but removable tip,
the same base and two windows…

they are so new it’s hard to narrow down the specs

EVOD on MVP just works for me…

4 window glass and not glass

- eGo EVOD BCC Cartomizer - 5pc KangerTech eGo 1.6ml EVOD 4-Window BCC (Metal Bottom Coil Changeable) Cartomizer/Clearomizer (4 Windows)
- (NEW) KANGERTECH EVOD GLASS DUAL COIL PYREX CLEAROMIZER (1.5ml)

Three new black tubes for my Nemesis, a hybid kit for my Nemesis, 10 magnets for switches, and 5 little 510 stands for my attys. All for under $20 shipped! Can't beat that!

Nice!
Nice, what does the hybrid kit do?
I still only have my Turtleship V2 clone, but I love the .41 ohm build on the Stillare I just got. just rewicked and dripping some Mothers Milk...Heaven

This is probably the best place to ask this, I'm thinking about upgrading to a mvp v2 from a vv kangertech (ego twist basically) I keep getting mixed answers on other forums since the max wattage is 11. My goal is to get a kayfun for the mvp, since I'm tired of kanger coils being so inconsistent. Why is having only 11 watts a bad thing? I don't plan on sub-ohming. Does anyone have an mvp with a kayfun? Does it work well?

I want to clarify that the 28 gauge only works and heats up fast enough when using a 1/16th drill bit imo , anything larger and the heat up is too slow for good results with the MVP.

    I am going to try 32 again , i don't have 34 .

    :2c:

there is just something I like about the ego-threaded, removable driptip,
“cylinder” style tanks (look like hydraulic lifters)
EVOD, T3’D, aspire Maxi, mini protank3, mini uni tank, aerotank mini…

looks like the newest coil is again different than other kanger bdc,
maybe manufacturers don’t like the fact people are building them DIY,
    and doing a better job…

    I am a single-coil vapor’er (and darn happy) but I am kicking
the idea around of stocking up on kanger bdc coils, and using the bigger
dual coil body, then building them as single coils (bcc)
and I would be lying if I didn’t say, that new ‘enclosed’ kanger dual
kinda interests me… (with two ceramic stix)

    well, yes
bigger diameter would be like many more wraps

if you use an ( 1 ½” ) of wire
whether it is one wrap around your finger
or 60 wraps around a hair
it’s still 1½ of wire to heat
    electric still travels the 1½

Do or can you rebuild dual coil heads.

I could, but just seems to fussy to mess with

    :)

Ucliker - just got a kayfun lite that is now sitting atop my MVP2. Built a 1.9ohm coil and running MVP at 8W. Getting doggone good flavor and pretty decent vapor. Next build, I'll try for about 1.7ohms. Scored the MVP from 101vape and the clone from Fasttech. I don't know that I'll sub-ohm. Not sure, but for now, I'm pretty amused with what I have for now (ha ha ha ha)
