Yeah....uhmmm....(sheepishly raises hand)....uh guilty here. Did the O-ring fix on my MVP2 and my VV. Then tried it on my MVP1 and the pin started to stick so I pulled too hard and POP. I was able to break it down and re-solder the wire to the pin though......

So....now you can say you have heard of one case of it happening, but it was some dunbass that was being impatient and not taking his time.

Mine just did this today... stick and POP, out it comes.. Teach me to try and do it in the car.

Oh ya, and for those wanting to know, the o-rings to get are Standard Size #006 1/8" ID, 1/4" OD, 1/16" thick.

Are the Kayfuns really as good as all you folks are saying it is?

I guess I'll find out in 2-200 weeks when my MystryTech order shows up. :) Pulled the trigger on a clone and an additional quartz nano kit a few minutes ago.

Capt, here's my new clone:

Some kind souls helped me diagnose a wicking problem. Fixed that when I got home from work this evening, and WOOT - way tasty, yummy, good!

Thanks for the heads up on the tanks Keirster! Would you consider this a BIG upgrade compared to using the Aerotank?
If I went that route I would have to build my own coils each time correct?
Yes you must build coils, but if you look back to my earlier post today...I still have my original coil on my Kayfun after 2 MONTHS...."I don't care who ya are" to me....it is almost Etheric [emoji273]

I've been using my MVP 2.0 with 1.25 ohm cartos. I have higher resistance stuff but it just doesn't hit the same. I plugged my factors into ohms law and it looks like when I run my normal 8 watts I would be using 3.16 volts. But you can't set the device below 3.3 volts. so I guess my question is,
is there a voltage minimum?
Is the MVP just rounding up to 3.3 volts?

It's only hitting 2.64 amps. I'm wondering if it will use lower voltage then you can set if it works out that way in watts mode. Also it will hit at 0.8 ohms that seems to be the threshold. I don't normally do that but I have had it fire.

I ran a .8 for a test one night and it fired up fine but just feel pushing things to the limit isn't always good and dismantled it that evening.

Just a reminder to folks having contact pin issues to check my blog where I try to cover all the current fixes.

it's not hitting the amp limit it's set at 8 watts, with a 1.25 ohm carto, that works out to 3.16 volts
since the lowest voltage you can select is 3.3 volts. do you think it's firing at 3.3 volts(the lowest selectable voltage) or lowering the voltage (to meet my wattage selection)

As I stated, its @ 3.3v as thats the lowest it will go (+ or -), so with a 1.25 ohm coil, you are actually @ 8.7w.

Note about the tobacco flavors I enjoy. They taste NOTHING like those nasty Marlboros I smoked for so many decades. Just flavors I enjoy, nothing like a cigarette.

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

That's my reasoning. One of my two main flavors is a tobacco. Not because it has any resemblance to smoking, but because I don't like sweet flavors, which really limits what's available. Just got some DIY supplies, mostly so I can try extracting my home roasted coffee, but also to work with some more unsweetened tea and fruit options.

On the post issues, I put it completely on Innokin's quality control. I have two MVPs and four VV v3s, and it is only a problem with one out of six. And it is a major problem with that one. It doesn't matter which toppers I use, or how careful I am.
