3 is my favorite number ;)

I'll probably end up with 3 in the end (basic black & maybe the grey).

I have 4 cheapo no name ego style ones that I love and want to extend
their life because I'll never buy them again. Just want to run 2 & have
other two as swap outs during charging.

Question about my shine - I was reading directions- they say pushing
both the p & u at same time runs through 4 readings:
1 resistance
2 battery voltage
3 puff count
4 last set voltage or wattage

mine is only showing #s 1&2. ??
What is happening?

I checked the readings for p & for u and they each work properly.
Yes, mine shows resistance then battery charge then disappears. The instructions must be for an older version.

Did say it wasn't as easy. :) Need a micro coil. But you can dry burn the coils on a kf and then put it (or them if you want dual) in the i30. Makes life a little easier to compact the coils since there isn't much room. But yeah, getting the insulators back is a fun trip. They'll slide a bit easier if you add a drop or so of juice to them but then they get really slippery. Real small needle nose pliers or tweezers and a tiny screwdriver helps too. You kind of have to work it back in. It's all trial and error. Mostly error at first. :)

As far as using the top prong for a ground... not sure that's a good idea. Unless it's locked down it's probably going to be a really erratic ohm reading.

In all honesty I only did one a while back to see if it could be done.Worked well but obvioiusly pertty tedious. I do have a pile of replacement coils so it'll be a while before I try it again. Maybe even use some cotton. Maybe. :)

I gave up trying to do it the correct way. Got the insulator back in. Made a 5/64 30ga coil at 2.5Ω. Bent the ground into a U and placed it on the outside of an Aspire BDC liner, positive out the bottom. Lined up the coil with a 1/16 drill in the bottom slot. Put the pin in and cut the wire as best as I could then folded the rest over. Tested and fired. Wicked with rayon trimmed to about 1/4 inch. Put a wick in the top slot and put the rubber cap on. Filled to 2ml. Works great at 8w. Will report if it leaks or gurgles.

The leather is really nice. Bet it feels nice in your hand. The stitching is sharp!
Do you leather users adhere it with any product or make it so perfectly, it's a slip on?

Thanks Brend! It's a slip on. I kinda winged this one but I found the template on another forum. I think it was ukvapors. I tried to do the diamond pattern stitch but blue and red stitches were too tight so it didn't come out right. It feels great and I'm not a logo guy so covering up the font was a big plus too.

Slip-on, wow! That's a precision fit. Nice job.
Yeah I can do without logos too but I do like some kind of
decoration & your seam stitch is that for me.

I've ended up adding a little personalized flare with tanks & tips.

PM if you'd like to make one of your own. I can guide you through it or I can make one for you too if youd like.

That's really nice of you. My mvp is the shine edition with criss-cross lines and blue gems attached so
I couldn't/wouldn't use a wrap on it. But I bet there are others here who would love one.

You know this is a week too late - I ordered this shine because my husband has the black one & I didn't
want the two to get mixed up and I didn't see a wrap that I really wanted. Plus the total cost of the
battery & that of the wrap from 2 different sites, 2 different shipping orders kinda ended up
being the same cost as the shine - so i went with it.

If this was just last week, I'd probably take you up on it. I just got this shine yesterday.

I do plan on picking up another standard mvp locally in the next few weeks so you might be getting a pm
from me. Cool. :)

Hey all finally got my MVP2 yesterday and loving it. It is doing everything it is supposed to. I didn't have any trouble dialing it in to get my juice flavor. What I am having trouble with is the Iclear 30 that came with it. I have set the wattage everywhere and can't get the flavor like I can out of my Kanger T3S. I even tried it on my vision twist 1100mah batteries. I am getting plenty of vapor just no flavor like I said been high been low been watts been volts. Already went through 3 tanks of juice for you info I DIY my own juice and build my own T3S coils. Maybe I am not used to the stainless drip tip please help.

Very surprising , i get superb flavor at 8.5 - 9 watts on the MVP.

not to many folks like the I-30 on the MVP and prefer using something else

I must be one of the few

Maybe I just can't get my wattage up high enough to get the flavor. All I do know is my Kanger tanks work much better. I am more into flavor than vapor.

For me the Iclear 30 beats the Pro Tank in taste but the PT is not far behind with coils wrapped yourself.

there's always one in every crowd :)........"on the MVP" - if i were to use a Tank besides a Carto Tank which would be my first choice with a 3ohm cart...... my second choice would be the Aspire BDC w/2.1 coil......all and all i do prefer a small RDA such as a Mini Tower, Optimus, Octapus or a small RBA Genesis Tank called the DID on my MVP with a 30-32 ga build wicked w/cotton around 1.5 to 2.0....this has worked the best for me with fantastic flavor

Yeah, i always seem to be the exception to the rule lol, i still can't figure out how to use my RDA , i mean i know it's built right and wicked right but i can't seem to figure out the juice level . It also has one air hole and if you block it you will blow a head gasket trying to get some vapor .

if it's your Nimbus, try this......single coil build, 28 or 30 ga kanthal...on a 3/32 or a 1/8th bit 7 wraps w/28ga.....9 wraps w/30ga....after installing your coil tighten & clip all excess and make sure nothing is touching....read your resistance if it reads your fine.....you also must line up and center your coil with the air-hole in the top-cap.....wick w/cotton, make sure the cotton moves thru the coil without much resistance and you should be good to go......on my Nimbus i drilled out my air-hole to 1/16th.....try 5 to 7 drops of Jooze to start with

here is my first Nimbus Build
