ECF is so huge I get lost in this place! That's why I depend on Phil and Nick so much. We've seen how well that works though...

yep it's getting hard to keep up with......i'll prob wind up picking up the new SVD, man i sure hope they come out with a 20 or 30 watt MVP........they were hinting that a new box mod just might be in the future and i like it......cant wait to see what the future brings........

whatever the FDA decides on the 8th of next month it will be awhile before it goes into effect, you know there will be plenty of lawsuits/appeals pending....personally i think the FDA & big US corporation is in bed with big tobacco and there decision is already made concerning us because were costing them big bucks...every new vaper is money lost for big tobacco.

if you use the fill hole with anything it will wear out quickly and leak (plastic or metal), your better off top filling.

Yup. I been searching a lot and watching tutorials. I just need some practice I guess. Thanks for the info on the fill hole. Since I already bought the needle tip, I might as well try it out. When it wears out, I will just use glue and close the hole. I don't really care much since it's leaking even now. Still cheap to buy clones and fantastic tank other than that. I am quite happy.

KayFun 3.1 - it shouldn't be leaking, when it's brand new it might leak at the seams until the o-rings get broke in and that shouldn't take to long, maybe a couple of days of good use......before filling make sure all seams are snug not to tight just snug and be careful not to pour any juice down the center hole (chimney post), pour it down the sides if your top filling and do not fill all the way to the top leave some room between the top & the chimney hole......catch the threads turn the kayfun upside down, take your thumb off the fill hole and tighten, this is how you get the rite pressure into the tank.......it might take some practice until you get this process down-pat.....once you do it works great, it's not hard at all just have some patients until you get it down.....

I'm interested to know about charging the MVP.

I have a VV3 and the light stays on, cycles through the colours until it's charged.

On the MVP I see no lights at all or cycling colours so I have no idea when it's charged.

I have 2 and they're both the same.

You should be seeing a green light while charging until it is charged then goes out.

Just did my first micro coil with cotton wick. 1.3 ohm and it vapes like a dream in my kayfun 3.1. Best taste I ever had. Except it's leaking too much into the collector :(

Thanks. I think I am not doing quite right from top filling the tank. I will figure it out along more built.

if the ‘tank’ isn’t air tight, it will allow juice to flow out;
make sure ALL o-rings are wet or lubed using juice prior to assembly...

once you fill it from the top method, vape/draw out the ‘air-hole’
a few times to adjust/set the juice/air ratio inside the tank…

I found that for me, it works best if I wick it up almost just like
my kanger coils, just a little longer – wick just barely touches the
level at the top of juice chanels; fill/stuffing a lot of cotton in there
didn’t seem to perform as well, for me…

:2c:

>forgot to Welcome you to the big-o-MVP club :toast:

what does your battery level read ?

push & HOLD both buttons

what does the second read out say ? R2.1 (U4.2)

U4.2 (4.2v) means it is full charged and no lights should be on...

:)

Customizing the MVP2?

Hi,

Wondering if any of you have aesthetically customized your MVP2?

I've not done anything to mine but I'd just like to make it a bit more personal to me. Maybe add my lucky charms that are on my keychain to my MVP somehow. The only way that I can think to do that would be to put a rubber o-ring around the beauty ring and somehow attach my lucky charms to the o-ring.

Anyway, I can't read through 1300+ pages in this topic to see if'n it's been brought up yet so apologies if there are already several hundred pages in this topic that discuss aesthetically customizing your MVP.

What is to be voted on the 8th? I agree that they are in bed with Big Tobacco. Another post I made in the forum:
Im quoting an old post, but the thread is still current. I agree 100% with this post. Bear with me on this next part:

The US government has a track record of doing things that bring in governmental and corporate funds. The CIA has incited a number of coup d'etats in history to install governments favorable to US governmental and corporate interests (Chile and Iran are fully acknowledged by the government itself). A housing bubble was made by banks aiming for higher profits through subprime morgtages, politicians getting votes for such policy, and people blindly taking on loans to pay for the houses that hence skyrocketed in price (the markets way of indicating that too many people were buying houses beyond their means and hence prices rise to eventually stymie the process). Corporations like GM, Toyota, Chrysler, Dow, etc have continued to sell products they knew were harmful or potentially harmful solely for the sake of profit (it would hurt profits too much to fix the problem). The International Monetary Fund makes loans to third world countries, the money is used to build infrastructure, then when the government responsible for paying inevitably fails to repay in time, commercial and industrial resources are plundered and sold off to Western based corporations (and by extension, their governments) through privatization.

If you put $2000 in a bank account, a year of yielding interest probably wouldnt get you $20 of profit, yet if you are $0.10 over using your check card, the same bank that gives you less than $20 for a year of using your $2000 in speculative markets charges you a $35 overdraft fee. And heres the real insult- since your money is FDIC insured, if the bank loses your money, the taxpayers pay the money to reimburse your loss (while those who ended up with the money originally keep it all). If a massive speculative bubble in the housing market occurs as a result of pooling collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and the banks/corporations go bankrupt on account of wielding deposits worth a fraction of what they thought they were worth, the government passes a bailout package using pooled taxpayer money to reinforce their wealth. You pay taxes all throughout the year, and unless you are really poor, you only get the money back you gave in taxes (not an inflation adjusted amount) or less and thus allow the government to used pooled resources of the public and give you back a lesser result.

My grandmother died due to her insurance company abruptly cutting off her supply of steroid injections (which were being used to treat degenerative bone loss). She would have lived about 5 more years, but since she had had the steroid injections long enough her body culled natural steroid production. 2 weeks after she would have had another steroid shot, her body slipped into shock. They saved her at the hospital (by injecting steroids among other things), but since she had been dead for 15 minutes, there was lasting damage to her liver and intestines. My grandfather got asbestosis in the Air Force, is 100% disabled and on every breathing treatment known to man- the VA decided he no longer needed oxygen...!

If you bought enough gold in 1963 to purchase a car and put it away in a safe deposit box, you could pull that gold out today, sell it, and buy a new car. If you stored cash instead, you wouldnt even have a decent downpayment. This goes on and on. I could cite many more examples, and im sure all of you could cite even more than me.

What does this have to do with e-cigs? It is a threat to the tobacco industry AND a threat to tax revenue the government collects AND a threat to all the drugs big pharma sells in response to smoking related health issues. On top of this, it is also a significant threat to social security, since people living longer means more money must exist for SS payments. Medicare/aide is a push- people live longer so more expenses, but ecigs likely cause less health issues to treat. While now only a minority of the public smokes/vapes, it is a sizable enough amount to cost money to "important" people.

They need a way to make money across the board. The best way is to pass what little ecig sales still occur onto Big Tobacco, and greatly stymie ecig sales in general so that smoking continues its lucrative side-effect of health issues. A win win for all parties (except the People).

Sorry for the long winded response. I agree 105% with the post I quoted. I am tired of the way the world works. I hope that we and other entities can protect some of our liberties (and money) in the coming legislative war, but im not holding my breath.

Notice that drugs like ...... and such are illegal, but cigarettes are not?

Looks nice. How is the fit on these skins? Is there a noticeable seam somewhere when it's applied to the box, can you see that seam or feel it with your fingers?

I'd love to find a skin for mine, but if there is a seam I know that my fingers would be fooling around with it all the time and I'd be "picking" at the seam unconsciously until I'm picking off the skin. But if there is no noticeable seam at all then great!

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
are you talking of the KF 3.1.......if you have to wrap the airflow screw somethings wrong, also the fill hole on the 3.1 has no screw it has a side injection port with a rubber grommet, the more you use it the sooner it will wear out.

....come on 1am, can't wait......

Didn't see this earlier , sorry. No , i don't have a 3.1 , i am considering it though but now i'm not sure , in case you haven't noticed , it's a ..... for me to make up my mind on anything, even toilet paper , (not brand or softness , just whether i really need it or not) .

I have the matte finish Kayfun from FT and it has a fill screw on the bottom.
