Looks nice. How is the fit on these skins? Is there a noticeable seam somewhere when it's applied to the box, can you see that seam or feel it with your fingers?

I'd love to find a skin for mine, but if there is a seam I know that my fingers would be fooling around with it all the time and I'd be "picking" at the seam unconsciously until I'm picking off the skin. But if there is no noticeable seam at all then great!

If you get that OCD treated you'll fare better with the skin , i'm almost positive i got some form of OCD , got to blame my quirkiness on something.

Didn't see this earlier , sorry. No , i don't have a 3.1 , i am considering it though but now i'm not sure , in case you haven't noticed , it's a ..... for me to make up my mind on anything, even toilet paper , (not brand or softness , just whether i really need it or not) .

I have the matte finish kayfun from FT and it has a fill screw on the bottom.

That would be a kayfun Lite Plus clone. I think it's better than the 3.1 as it's more compact and the fill hole works much better.

Customizing the MVP2?

Hi,

Wondering if any of you have aesthetically customized your MVP2?

I've not done anything to mine but I'd just like to make it a bit more personal to me. Maybe add my lucky charms that are on my keychain to my MVP somehow. The only way that I can think to do that would be to put a rubber o-ring around the beauty ring and somehow attach my lucky charms to the o-ring.

Anyway, I can't read through 1300+ pages in this topic to see if'n it's been brought up yet so apologies if there are already several hundred pages in this topic that discuss aesthetically customizing your MVP.

I have a carbon fiber wrap on mine. Took a few tries to cut the holes for the fire button and display just right. I tried 3 templates online and they were all off by a bit so I just measured and cut mine. If you get the Di-Noc from 3M, the samples are 8 x 10. You can get 4 wraps from one sheet. Cut each wrap at 3.5" by 5" (3/8" overlap). My sheets were 1/16" short so I just cut the sheets in half (4 15/16") and it still overlaps fine.

The Di-Noc stays put very well and you won't be able to pick it off easily. The overlap isn't all that noticeable.

Thanks for the links! That's how I got my Di-Noc samples. Did anyone else have a salesman call them?

Thanks for the link to the samples and the template.

Can you tell me how bad is trying to get the sample material off of our device? Just in case I wish to change it to another design, would like to know in advance what I'm going to be up against, like removing shelf paper or something much worse where I have to spend hours upon hours picking away at the tiniest of particles left behind to get a smooth starting surface again.

Much appreciate the info.

the KayFun ES-3.1 is far superior, yes it might be 1/4" longer than the others but that is for a great reason.....a built in protection catch well to keep your batteries/Mod/510 connection from soaking in jooze ,the 3.1 is capable of Hybrid Mode without the catch well.....with the 3.1 you do not need to use the fill-hole which very few do anyway; top filling is the preferred method..... plus all the hole functions are on the side of the device which is another better feature for battery/Mod safety precautions and also works great on the MVP, this is my preferred RBA and best by a long-shot imo. :2c:

I received an email from a sales rep for a company that sells DI-NOC, but I just sent back a simple reply that I am thrilled with it but must get senior approval to purchase. Have heard nothing since.

well I ordered some sample materials. Apparently when I did that it immediately sends that info to one of their sales reps, for almost as fast as I could click the order my samples button I got an email from one of their sales reps telling me that he was out of the office until Aug 4. So, I'm guessing that when we hit that "order my samples" button, it sends a message with all the info to one of their sales reps and maybe to the warehouse that has all the material to send out the samples to us. It's definitely sending the info to one of their sales reps (probably as an email) otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the "I'm out of the office until..." email.

Not important to me really, just thought I'd mention it for anybody else new coming along that might be concerned about being contacted by mmm for ordering sample material.

I have ordered 2x, second time used a different email address and a friend's mailing address (she pre approved me doing this). The first time I received about 6 out of office emails and nothing after that. The 2nd time I received an actual sales rep email as stated in my previous post. If you do receive an email just rave about the product but some excuse why you are not prepared to order yet. Hope that does not sound unethical because mine was an honest answer.

I have ordered samples three times now :) I only have ever gotten E-mails. I noticed a little extra solicitation spam as well.

The Di-Noc will come off nicely and does not leave a residue. I keep a blow dryer handy putting on or taking off. I have not been able to get one off without stretching it out of shape so you can't reuse them. But hey, they are free so I just make another.

I'd love a box mod like the MVP with the Evolv 30 and two replaceable 18500 batts... If I use Sanyos, that amounts to 3400 mAh in a shorter box...
Maybe with the display at the bottom... AND the Shine motifs...

did you watch the evolv/Innokin videos ? (3)
notice what “George” , head dude from Innokin was vaping with ?
had a silver MVP, with what looked like a pro tank, so I’d have to
guess it was an iClear X.I…

wish Phil would of asked what the most popular Innokin device was
so I could of heard him say MVP and maybe he would have
spit out some numbers pertaining to such…

There is a seam on the back.. I wrapped it so the seam is close to the side with the buttons that way I cant feel it while vaping with my left hand. Its not bad though.. hardly feel it even if you were feeling for it.

The fit is actually pretty good... The 'gap' you see around the widow is a trick of light. It actually not there and fits the window cutout perfectly.

Loving the MVP with Kayfun 3.1 clone. Getting better at this top filling little by little.
Ordered me Vamo V5, a set of 18650 and a set of 18350.
Now have to order intelicharger and I will be all set as my backup. So that I can rotate between my MVP and the vamo. Excited.

yepper, just keep working with it and it just becomes second nature...

Anybody's MVP2 "puff" counter seem inaccurate?

At first I actually thought it was sophisticated and was somehow measuring the amount of puffs that I was taking, even going so far as to measure the amount of air passing over some kind of sensor so that it might register one really large inhalation as multiple inhalations. Then it dawned on me, that it's only counting the amount of times that I press the fire button.

Anyway, the reason that i thought it might be actually registering the amount of air intake on my inhalation is because it seems like it's counting stuff when I'm not taking hits on my MVP2.

I think it's "padding" the counter number. For example, at 10AM this morning I reset it and by 4pm it said that I'd taken something like 172 puffs. I look at the Nautilus tank which was just a hair above the 5ml mark at 10AM this morning and at 4pm it was only down to about 4.25ml Somehow I have a hard time believing that I took 172 puffs on my MVP2 and only managed to use about 1ml of eliquid.

Anybody else think that their puff counter is padding the true puff count number?

My math is not very good anymore, but if I figured it properly, the MVP2 is suggesting by it's puff counter that between 10 AM and 4 PM, I managed to take 172 puffs, that's 6 hours... 172 puffs divided by 6 hours is 28 puffs an hour, or a puff every 2.14 minutes. I know there's no way that I vape every 2.14 minutes.

i have been floping back and forth from my ego's and analogs.....went four months with out smoking but then went back to about three aday, but now i know i will never smoke again! my protank 3 is working aweseom on the mvp.

still dont fully know where my sweet spot is but i am using a 2.2 ohm coil at about 7.5 watts and is the smoothest vape i have had since starting. anyone have have tips or tricks that they learnt from using thier mvp over time that they would wish to share?

edit: also i have been looking at the vaping chart from steamengine and just to have this clarifyied as i am still a "noob", the number that i come up with in the green zone when i find the number for my coil ohm and "safe voltage" is the wattage i should set my mvp at correct?
