I have to say I love the button cover but would never use the case. I have a little case logic camera case, hols a few batts and about 5 20ml bottles,plus the out side can hold a few atty's and about 10+ carts.

So, button cover a big yes, asap pls.the Ego carrying case, no thanks.

I rather like the case... I would buy one.

The comments on belt clips are amusing; they come and go as American fads, based on "status" associated with what is being clipped onto your belt. First it was pagers, and now "smart phones".

I noticed a couple years ago that the "watch pocket" anachronism that graced many brands of blue jeans has transmuted into a "cell phone pocket" in size and shape... but "smart phones" won't fit. I figure when those pockets change to fit an iPhone, suddenly belt clips will be passe again.

Is the middle part seperated? Could a regular battery fit in that part if I want to have a regular size battery on hand?

if it can hold a spare battery, i will 100 percent for sure buy one. It looks nice, I like the double sided approach.

Just to clarify ....

Alongside eGO XL at 901 mAh there will be a different eGO battery device capable of working as a pt OR a dedicated passthrough with cables permanently attached to it ?

Also any chance of pre-ordering ?

Love the button protector.
Don't need more molding in the accessory compartment, can add foam or tissue as needed.

I agree with Stu that a little felt in the main storage compartments would keep the rattling noise to a minimum without compromising space in the same manner as foam.

The idea of a pocket clip on the button protector is a little mis-guided I would think though considering the location of the button. Would take an awfully shallow pocket to make a clip in that location worthwhile.

Hey Mik, excellent design, pleasant to the eye and in keeping with the lines of the eGo, which i love, BTW. And yup, I would prolly get one as well.
Could the lid hinges be a supple material? with a couple of grommets holding them to the case? Easy to flip on and off, and NOT lose!
Button covers get big +++ from me, should come with the starter pack, imo, to prevent accidental discharge.
Yup, great design, cant wait.
And ++ on the felt liner as well.

Why not add a belt loop or clip, that would make the case much more portable, therefore far more appealing to a broader audience. I know for me personally, this would be a huge bonus, from what I could see based on the size, I would be able to carry my juice, my ego, and possibly an extra cart. This would mean that everything I would need for the day would all be tucked away safe, and in one place. Otherwise, I really like the look of the case, I like the design setup, but it looks too big for a pocket, and I don't carry a purse.

I've already been scoping out an attachable clip in anticipation of modding the case I buy. There are inexpensive options out there if you really have to have a clip. I'm just watching for a release date at this point!

I think I would look like batman if I put this on my belt...hell I dont even wear a belt except for work. The case just kicks .... and I want one.

You should also install the case with an auto-tune app so we can sing into it.

There's already been a discussion on belt/pocket clips in this thread and the general consensus from Europeans is that Americans (apart from already being a very strange, pitiable people) are completely ridiculous in their love of clipping things onto their person like some sort of demented clearance rack display stand in a dollar store.

Mind you, I thought it strange to belittle an entire group that makes up a significant portion of your sales, but what do I know.. ..I'm one of those zany Americans.
