I'm not trying to be sarcastic or nit-picky here, I'm asking a genuine question:
You keep typing "raNging bi*ch." You DO mean "raging" right? No "n"?
I just wanna know. Cuz that sounds like some juice I'd like to try, if you mean RAGING ....., that is, heh heh.

Good catch, I got that one from the last shipment on thank giving sale. I didn't even know there is some change on this shipment. I'll try that with my Ranging Bi*ch and see how it hold up.

Can you tell me anything about the coil? Burned taste? Please update us after you have used it a while.

Without pulling it apart, I can't tell the difference with the coil. But if I don't squeeze the tube it does burn on the third hit. But the plastic tubing had a lot more flex which i think is good for longevity. The draw is harder as mentioned and not as much vape with the nicquid juice, I won't be using the Menthol Burst on the new ones for a while since I got so many new juices to try :p

I am not a fan of the new Ce3's .I contacted si customer support with a question because they just did not perform very well at all asking if the design had changed. They said they did change the design to help with a leaking issue with the old design. But The new ones to me i cant use.I have tried 2 boxes of them and no difference. You can put them on the x2 battery and it is like sucking a golf ball through a garden hose .I checked the post's.made sure no gunk was on the battery etc.The previous design i enjoyed much better even if they leaked a little at least i could use them.Very very stiff draw and occasional burnt taste on fresh ones.

i am still a big fan of SI and the customer support you get but i just don't think the new design is worthy

I just received a pack in about 3 days ago. I love them...with one caveat. My juice tastes pure in them. I've used the same one for about 5 fills now. Easily taken apart. No problems dry burning the coil like others have had. Caveat is that they only work great until about half full. This is when I experience performance issues. For me vapor production drops, and I seem to pull a little liquid into the tube, up the tube, and into the mouthpiece end. I really, REALLY love these until they are half full. Although the flavor isn't as good in regular cartomizers than in these, I'm going to stick to the reg cartos for now. I have four of these and a nano unused, along with a bunch of juices to trade if anybody is interested. Look here in the Smokeless image trade thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...f-pay-forward-out-old-new-14.html#post8010781

Yes, as soon as they fail I try moving the battery post and nothing happens. I now have the inside seal out of them after thouroughly rinsing them I have them soaking in vodka just to see if mabe something gunked up and caused them to not fire but I am not at all confident this will help.

I have been using the CE's from S.I. and the Phoenix from GotVapes, both bottom coils, and while I have had a couple of the Phoenix fail none from S.I. have. I just syringe out with water and then re-use. Noted u mentioned cleaning in Vodka. What does that do, pls? Why Vodka? Secondly, when ECF users talk of fiddling with the battery connection, what do u all do? Many thx and carry on Vaping!

Vodka can disolve some of the gunk that builds up on the coil. Even better is Ever Clear, 195 proof clear whiskey, but it's a little pricey.

Fiddling with the battery connection means lifting the center post in the CE3 just a little. It can be done most easily with a tool like a sharply bent dental pick used to lever the post up a tiny bit by using a rocking motion. There is some "play" available at the bottom post to allow it to move out a bit. Sometimes, with tolerances and QC being what they are, the post simply won't contact the battery.

I have also started running into poor performance with the "improved" version when they get empty down to the coil housing. A guess is that the coil chamber in the "improved" version is just slightly larger than the in the old version and the liquid can't flow down to the wicks as easily and there isn;t enough liquids, at that point, to help force it down. This would also explain problems with thicker liquids not wicking properly. I may try chucking an air tube into a drill and use a Dremel with a grinder to take just a little off the coil chamber as an experiment.

Just my opinion, worth what you're pating for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No guarranty or warranty is expressed or implied.

Just so I'm clear (because I know this has been addressed elsewhere on the forum) the nanos aren't having these problems, right?

nano's are a different build but same concept. I've heard they work well, but the one and only i tried only has a funky taste that won't go away so detered me from trying anymore.

One note, my prior comments were jaded by the fact I had 2 CE3's die rather prematurely, and the easy to burn result when using my x2 batteries. To further complicate matters, the remaining 3 CE3's I still have in service are holding up well. The only leaks were due to a fill hole issue, easily resolved. Also, I have been sampling different vendors, in packs of 10 or more flavors at a time. Still looking for that all day vape, but I am enjoying the experience. I have noticed that some vendors formulations are much more sensitive to burning in CE3's than others. Vendor #5, which I am thoroughly enjoying, have only given me a very slight hint of burn on long drags....

My remaining CE3's have had 15-20 fills now each, and these seem to be holding up well [so far so good], with frequent cleaning and occassional dry burns. If this is consistent with what I should expect in future batches, I can't complain [too much]. Bang for the buck, it is solid. If I can do better than 3 / 5 for long life, I will be thrilled. At $2 a piece, they may not be as sturdy as a carto, but the flavor and vapor production is unmatched.... Now give me a T3 with replaceable coils on sale, and I will have to rethink it. :D

Been a while since I posted but it's not be mistaken for the ce3s working. As I mentioned last time a new new revision was out. My verdict is that it's worse, a lot worse. I would rather have a ce3 that I have to squeeze now and again to get it to wick, then one that leaks everywhere. It's crazy how much they leak. I've got more in the mail, but if they are not up to scratch ill find a tidy. I have to leave my current ce3s up side down when they are not being used, and you can't take them anywhere.

I just ordered and got 10 of the new ones. Haven't used any of them yet but I'll be filling them later tomorrow or Friday. They all seem to have the taller base and lower capacity as a result of that, but the same is true of ones from other vendors. I love improvements that are downgrades.
