Ahhh what a pansy
Come on over here, it's white, the air is fresh, and everything looks so "clean"
Better hurry though, ... looks temporary.

Nah, as the saying goes, been there, done that.

Of course, one of the many great things about vaping is that we don't have to go out in the rain, snow, blizzard to vape.

And one of the many great things about being retired is I don't have to drive in any of that unless I want to!

My last job, 24+ years as a hydroelectric plant electrician, often found me with the phone ringing in the middle of the night, power out, phone ringing for me to go in and restore the plant, get the power back... With up to 50,000 in the dark, time is important. Black ice? Too bad, gotta get there... Last Dec. we had a brief (4 hour) outage, happened in the middle of the night and concurrent noises woke us both up. Smiled, turned over and went back to sleep.

Things are a little tight in here right now, but hey, don't be offended if I brush up against you .. I do shower and use deodorant .. most days, anyway .. ;)

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies .. may I cut in .. ?? Sorry guys ..

Although the new space is, well, new .. it's got some sort of distinctive retro vibe to it .. it may take me a while to get used to it .. at any rate, boogie in your seats or on your feets, because, you know what .. ?? You were born to boogie .. whether it's here, there, or anywhere .. :)

Well to be honest, I'm gonna have just as much trouble remembering where to post what as I did before. I always associate the front porch with Andy playing the guitar and relaxing. I'm sure the titles are only confusing to me though. I'll figure out something. I messed up all the time before. I was looking back on my first comments. On the vaping question one I had said that I enjoyed reading your thread and thought you were a wonderful group of people. It ain't changed. I still feel the same way today. :)

Update - I didn't even make it a day before I messed up. If it wasn't for me wanting to learn something new, I'd just subscribe to this one and be done with it. heehee Sorry.

Just stumbled into the original thread that lead to the new ones.

Will lurk for awhile to get the flow... but leave a footprint in the meantime from the 60's... a unique modern version of the '68 Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Chile by Luna Lee on a Korean Gayageum.
(First time I experienced his music live was at Monterey Pop '67).

We have made a point of NOT checking ID's at the door :D Come on up here on the porch and tell us all about yourself. Go ahead pull up a rocker and sit a spell. :) Watch out for the cushions Iffy furnishes though. :D

Wow - that brought a different sound to that song. Liked it. I first saw Hendrix at a place in Philadelphia back around '68 called the Electric Factory. It was a great place because it only held a few hundred people and it wasn't hard to get close to the stage. It was also the 1st time I heard him play - Wow, just Wow - what a show. Also saw the likes of Janis Joplin and Eric Clapton there, it was a great time there, wished I remembered it all.

Come on in and join the gang. You're older than you were yesterday so you surely make the cut.

Wow, very interesting! I wish they had shown the whole instrument while she was playing it. Thanks for sharing this clip. And lurk as much as you want and then just jump in whenever the spirit moves you. I'm assuming you're a vaper?
