I'm gonna refrain from using "wood and hummer" in a sentence .. ;)

Dylan can pretty well sum it up as you well know ..

I'll leave it with you kids this way today .. I got a new tattoo a few days back .. my philosophy on tattoos is "You can take it with you" .. anyone that can guess the meaning gets a song or two dedication next time I mosey on in to the Porch .. leave the light on for me and stay off my recliner ..

Whoever did the tat was really good. Shows in the shading. If it looks this sharp and good at this point it's going to look great when it finishes healing. Imaging I did 20 years in the Navy starting in the 70s and didn't end up with any tats. I think that just might be a record considering I don't drink coffee either! :)

Tomorrow is our 50th anniversary, can you believe it?

Now really, is there anything you should do for fifty years? I love Pizza, but I wouldn't
want to eat it every day for fifty years. I smoked for fifty years and it nearly killed me.
I enjoy riding around the neighborhood on the golf cart, but I have no desire to
ride it cross country.

Ah, my high school sweetheart, what can I say.

We get along great, except she says she wants to be cremated, but she won't
give me a firm date.;)

Are you going to keep her anyway?

Hey no offense to me. I got threatened with Leavenworth Kansas back in the days of my youth when I got a DWI and totalled a Police Car in the process not to speak of my brand new Ford F150 with 4000 miles on it. Not a good day. Hadn't even put insurance on it yet. Very expensive lesson to say the least. Should have seen the Cop Car. I was in a blackout and didn't believe I did it till the showed me their car. That was when I lived in S. Dakota. My name was mud in Custer County to put it mildly. That was 40 years ago. They still remember it there.

I've been seeing more and more commercials on Vuse. Now on Spike and the show guys in the lab looking through microscopes. CRAZY I'm glad I have my stuff now. By the way those new BVC heads for the nautilus seem to be excellent. Haven't even gotten a burnt taste in my wifes which she uses exclusivily. Usually the old ones would last her about a week but this one is going on 2 and works like new.

It's hard to double and triple like something that hits at the heart. I do like to sit with the Nikon and wait for something to happen. I don't really care if nothing does.... It's just worth it to sit there and wait to see.....

Never thought I'd run across someone else who had that kind of patience.....

i like the Raptors, the Hawk in my Avvy is a regular visitor on my Privacy fence he has one certain spot he seems to like.......the story behind the Pic is awesome so here we go......sitting in the house w/the back door open when i herd the birds raising Cain out in the back-yard and went to look, there were a ton of black-birds swooping down on this Hawk perched on the fence and he just sat there like he owned the place; went and got my E-520 and started snapping....when i zoomed in on him i noticed that there is a dead black-bird in his Talons he must have been having for lunch :D (pic in Avvy).....this dude also swoops at my Cat once in awhile......this is too Cool like a Nature show in the back-yard....i've only seen 1 humming-bird here this yr, but plenty of Opossums and Racoons at night seen on my IR Cams outside.....

My hummingbirds are starting to thin out again. I didn't have to refill the feeder today, and I never saw more than four or five at once. Of course four or five are still fun to watch. They will use more energy chasing each other away from the feeder than you would think they were getting from it. Of course there is always at least one that waits until the others are chasing each other around and then comes in and quietly drinks her fill.

Tutu,
I take a raft of various inhalers that help my breathing a lot. Sometimes though the weather seems to mess it up and pollen doesn't help. For those times I have an oxygen generator that I use. Usually a dose pure O2 gets me back on track.

My nomination for Idiot of the Week. Man climbed the catch fence at Richmond Raceway last Saturday night. Just wanted to take a selfie I guess. Was arrested for disorderly conduct and (wait for it. ......) drunk in public (whoda thunk it!). :)

I didn't see that guy. I recorded the race so I could watch football live. I must have fast forwarded through when the caution came out! I did hear them talk about people climbing the fence though.

My parents live in VB and have plans to move to Florida once my father finishes working for the Navy. He's former Marine Corp civilian employee. They just got back from 3 years in Japan.

It's raining like pouring it out of a boot here today. Looks like I have a couple of full days of the wet stuff in store. Yesterday I was taking her majesty out for her daily constitutional and looked up and lo and behold there was a golden eagle circling overhead. Might have been a hawk but, if it was it was a giant one. Just thought I would mention it after reading sando7's post. I to like the raptors. Was out in the backyard with the hound on her run and heard a raptor scream a while back. Before I could blink the dog was aquiver between my legs. Maybe she is smarter than I think. NAH!

I'm not sure if this video will show up here, but I'll give it a try. A beautiful video for all of the hummingbird and nature lovers. This is a real treat.

Came through just fine Jewels. Very nice. Beautiful and relaxing. Nice to hear from you. You doing ok? Hope so, in my prayers always.

Well more bad news about sister in law. Her tumor is growing so fast they had to put her on a bag it's pressing against her colon so much no. It's amazing how fast some types of this disease works. We sort of want to go see her but my wife doesn't know if she wants to see her in this condition. She is pretty out of it. I guess she tried to get out of bed last night and fell so she is pretty much bed ridden. My wife and her were pretty close and she doesn't want to go there and start crying and make her feel worse. He is crying so much that he is afraid the police will pull him over and think he's messed up on something. He is really scared about being left alone so it's a sad affair all the way around. We don't know what to do about going there before we leave. It has taken her so fast. In the last month she has gone from wanting my wife to cook her some great food to barely getting by.
