My nephew quit using this computer awhile back and bought a new one. I decided to try to see if I can get this to work. I dl'd malwarebytes on advice, but didn't realize it was a trial (which has now expired). It came up with over 1500 malware files, which is why I have so many issues with it. Mostly it works, but my cursor jumps around..... suddenly the screen will jump to much bigger or much smaller.... etc. the sound is fine on the computer........it plays all the ad videos on websites that start automatically, but a few weeks ago it suddenly quit playing anything that is on youtube, whether it's posted here or I go to the youtube site. I imagine it's the malware that did it. It just happened suddenly, they played fine......then they didn't.

My daughter just left to do karaoke with her friend. While she was waiting for her friend to be ready, we sat and had a little impromptu chat.

My daughter is so amazing! She's by far the most like me of all my kids. It's through her that I learn to like myself more. She's got a lot of my strengths and my weaknesses. But, through her I can see the weaknesses in a more loving, gentle way. She's just so intelligent, loving, honorable, and well just plain amazing!

Hey there! Glad you dropped by! And CONGRATULATIONS on over a year without cigarettes! Absolutely wonderful!

I woke up early for me this morning but am slow getting started. Sweet taters are in the double boiler getting ready to be turned into a sweet tater pie. White taters are pealed, cut up, cookin' and getting ready to be turned into tater salad.

I picked up all the ingredients for Janet's Broccoli Casserole. I think I will put it together today and bake it tomorrow. Been wanting to try this one ever since I saw it. Thank you for the recipe Janet. I think it will go real well with the ham, candied sweet potatoes, potato salad and whatever else I decide on tomorrow.

Gotta get busy and get myself in gear 'cause I also plan on making a pecan pie, 2 custard pies and a coconut cream pie before the day is done.

Oh, I almost forgot...gotta throw together some pink stuff too. Have no idea what its real name is but Mom called it pink stuff. It is a mixture of cottage cheese, pineapple, apple, whipped cream, mini marshmallows, nuts, all mixed together with about half a package of dry red jello. Gonna use raspberry this time but any red colored one will do.

That broc casserole goes great with ham! And it's nice to be able to mix up the day before and just pop it in the oven. You've got a very busy baking day ahead! We usually have ham for Christmas, but I'm going to be putting together a lasagna today and bake it tomorrow. I think your pink stuff is a kind of ambrosia. I've heard of adding coconut in it too. Mom used to make one called Watergate Salad that used pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple, fruit cocktail and Cool Whip that was wonderful. It ends up being a light green color. Geeze, haven't made that in years! Now I'm hungry for it.

Yes and I love it. I don't need the extra power but I love the features. Especially the VW, The Boost and the menu system once you get the hang of it. Plus when you think about it at $250 the V2.5 with the 18650 cap is $200 so its not that much more. You have everything to use 3 different batt sizes.

You are so right. I forgot the coconut. didn't forget to buy it, just forgot to list it One of the great things about this stuff...No matter how you do it, it is still sooooooo good. I've also been known to add cream cheese to it. Makes it a bit heaver but still good.

in this order I would suggest ....

Make sure your sound icon at the bottom right of the screen is not muted or turned down ..

Go to Music Videos, New Music Video Premieres, Concerts - Vevo and try some, see what happens ..

Check the speaker icon on any youtube video - if it has a cross in it, uncheck it and try to play, or turn up the volume control on the video .. Google has messed with the auto settings some in the last month ..

In Internet Explorer go to top tab Tools, Internet Options and delete FILES, COOKIES, HISTORY ..

Download CCleaner and run .. it's free and an excellent program I've used for years .. although after running, it is likely to require you to re-enter passwords that are saved, it will remove all the excess garbage ...

yeah the videos seem to play......and sound plays fine on other aspects of the computer. Ad videos on certain websites that start automatically and drive me nuts, I hear those......just no sound on anything to do with youtube it seems. Sorry, had to duck offline suddenly for a bit. I haven't asked about how to fix it, cuz I imagine that it's got to do with all this malware on here. He doesn't really know what to do with computers, and would click on anything, so they get messed up. Took me awhile to even get this one working as good as it does. I didn't change any settings, but it just suddenly wouldn't play sound on the youtube vids anymore.
