My last decent job, they pushed and pushed me to work harder and harder, beyond what others in the same positions were doing. I begged my doctor to do something about it, but he would not. Other contingents of the community made things difficult. By the time they were done with me, I was in sad shape both physically and mentally. I cannot offer any other details. That might be too much as it is.
They knew perfectly well that I had the tendency to such collapses. I had had another at the end of graduate school.

My best friend has fibro and she tends to overdo. She lives in PA and this last snow she managed to just shovel a little at a time so as to not overdo. She is miserable when she does too much.

My Dad's company did some work on various Trump projects in Atlantic City and NYC. Dad hated the way that Trump did business, and therefore hated Trump himself. Trump would not pay the contractors on time even though he definitely had the money to do so.
As far as his approach to running for President, my opinion is that his ability to think on his feet is certainly keeping things interesting in a crazy kind of way. I do think Fox blew it big time with the mocking statements they made that caused Trump to withdraw from last night's debate, and I think that Trump was right to withdraw.
Further, Trump did something I found admirable that I have NEVER seen another politician do. When asked why he had brought up Cruz's Canadian birthplace, he stated the real reason: that it was because Cruz's poll ratings were on the rise. I think this truthfulness flabbergasted everyone.
Will I vote for him? Not a chance, but the possibility of Cruz, Fiorina, Bush, Carson, Christie, Huckabee or Rubio being President is more frightening to me than the possibility of Trump being President.
Politics is safe, right?

He did. I was f…ing amazed. I can't believe that his followers just stand there and listen to that crap. By the way I am pretty much a card carrying Republican but, consider myself a "compassionate conservative". Having a real hard time wrapping my head around the whole "Trump" thing. Not real impressed with Teddy Boy either. Taking a hard look at Marco Rubio though. I really think that most folks are compassionate conservative when you boil it down. Yep even you Bells. Compassionate being the operative word.Excellent and thought provoking commentary ..
The stance from Government in general, as it relates to that, is "The cost of policing each and every recipient outweighs what we pay them, thus, it would be more expensive to monitor and demand full compliance .. " .. although, there is a groundswell in some States to initiate a more strict compliance, along with Drug Testing, etc ..

.. what's particularly amusing (or unsettling, depending on how you look at it) .. he's likely right .. I've never considered myself anything more than Independent .. what happens in the Vote Booth Stays in the Vote Booth .. although I admit to leaning left ..
(most here I'm sure knew that) .. Given the choices we will have come November, I will vote for whomever I think will be best for America .. even if I have to choke to do it, I'll still vote .. I believe those that don't vote have no right to opinionate after the fact ..
