@Iffy, maybe cutting his nic so quickly is partly why he went back to smoking???

He (& his doc) wanted to get to 0 nic prior to his replacement. He vaped 18mg fer 'bout two months post-surgery and 'broke down' back to cigs. He knows da benefits, but just wants to vape while in da hospital fer a couple of days next week. Horse to water and all dat...

Am thinkin' I'll 'permanent loan' one of my istick 20/nautilus setups to show up his ol' eGo/clearo gear. Ya never know...

Haven't seen you for a few days. I know you don't post often, but I got worried.

Thank you for your concern. Debadoo checked up on me. Everything is good with me. I go through long periods where I just read and learn. :)

What is it?

A tourist trap souvenir shop. As for the Thing itself. Well its behind a fake cave looking place that is a separate admission to get in so I never looked. I was just happy for someplace with a bathroom at that point. That place used to be 100 miles from anywhere.

Hmm, I started at 24mg when I first started with a Nautilus Mini and then started lowering it as I got into more vapor producing systems. I did the TC for a while and just decided to go back to basics and now I am using my Herakles on my IPV Mini II @ 40W. Enjoying it more and down to 3mg. The last batch of my ADV I have lowered to 2.5mg and will be working down to 0mg. It is easy to make changes when I make my ADV. For 3mg, I use 5% nic when I make my 100ml batches. For 2.5mg, I used 4% nic. So I figure that I will lower 1% nic each time I make a new batch. Anyway, that is my plan, now to see if it will work out that way. I have 60mg/ml nic. I am not going to give up on vaping. I just want to do without the nic.
Earlier today I changed my avatar to a selfie I took on Christmas wearing the StarWars Beanie my daughter got me. I have since let my beard grow back out so will have to take another one soon. The last time I shaved was Christmas morning because we were having a neighbor and her sons over for Christmas dinner. My daughter didn't get to have her Turkey and Dressing for Thanksgiving because I was out of town. So she got to choose what I would cook for Christmas dinner. My daughter cooks when I bring home Papa Murphy's Pizza. LOL The beanie does hide my ponytail, though. In another 6 months or so my hair will be long enough for another donation to Locks of Love. Good grief, I have typed a novella. That is enough for now.

Seems like in all da vids......the drone took off and you stayed on da ground!

Meant to say before that I loved the pics!!

I do too. And dandruff. :pervy:

Right down to da snotty noze!

Great idea! Could make a lot of difference. Not sure I'd have made it long term if all I'd had was an ego. Wasn't getting the TH I needed

EDIT: I googled it. It is near the NM/AZ boarder off I-10 on the AZ side.
I've driven that, but don't recall the signs. Course, I don't recall what I had for supper yesterday......so that's understandable.

I started at 36, down to 2.5

I wonder if maybe uppin your nic a bit might help with your depression. It's good for stuff like that. Really hope you can sleep tonite!

My daughter cooks when I bring home Papa Murphy's Pizza.
ooooo love me some papa murphy's. And mondays here are military mondays (If they still do it) bogo. Chicken bacon ranch, stuffed is my go to. Loved the stories, would love to hear more! Good on ya for donating to locks of love! I didn't know about them when I was younger and cut my hair. I checked into it time before last, and they wouldn't use it if it had gray in it since they only make wigs for kids with porphyria and it won't dye right. They sell it to offset other costs, but they couldn't tell me where they sold it. Would love to find a place that uses graying hair for wigs for older folks with cancer.

well maybe things aren't so bad if they're looking to replace him instead of downsizing.
It's hard to say right now, Deb. Still, I'm not overly concerned about it. Things are going to be what they're going to be. Worrying about any of it will not help me.

They wouldn't ask you to stay longer than the 11 days would they? At least you don't have to deal with the PIA anymore.
Any chance you could gain some aircraft? Are all your aircraft helos?
A lot is going to depend on if they can get anybody to work overtime. Right now our parts people are spread pretty thin, and some of the ones we have will just NOT work any overtime at all. I'd work all the OT they want if I could just have my fur babies with me.

I had my lead mechanic laughing the other night. I told him this was the easiest first night on hitch that I've ever had. Since I was following myself, I knew everything that had been done and all was well.

If another company buys the one that we are contracted out to now, there is a chance we could gain more aircraft. There is some talk running around to that effect. Who knows? Yes, all our aircraft are helicopters.

I'm just hoping for you that a wonderful surprise will be beckoning you..yep, I'm an eternal optimist. (most of the time).
Thank you sweet lady! For some reason, I'm truly at peace with all of this. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and I'm going to be all right.

Oh, and I just had the best of fun tonight. I actually worked two bases tonight. There is another base 19 miles up the road from us. Their parts person has been out for two nights. They called me for help tonight. We had a light night, so I went over there, and tried to straighten up a few things for them. When their parts came, I just took mine off the truck too and took them back to my base with me. It was really a nice ride to and from. I promise you. I am ready for bed now.

Boy, do I ever wish I could adopt that mind set. The less I can do about whatever's coming up, the more tense I get.
