It's hard to say right now, Deb. Still, I'm not overly concerned about it. Things are going to be what they're going to be. Worrying about any of it will not help me.
Absolutely! Glad you're at peace, and glad you had a fun night.

Nermal, I used to be that way, but now I'm more like Roto. Worrying won't change a thing about the situation.....just give ya health problems, then you got more to worry about!

I'm learning to drink my coffee black. Ugh! Keeping the blood sugar under control.

The Odyssey is looking good. We still have the fifteen we had in December. Anyone wishing to join us drop me a line. Greg has installed bright dock lights and blue floor lights on the boat so we can cruise at night easily if we want to see the Skyline Bridge in the dark.

It has been cold here, for us. By April it should be sunny and warm. The wind is the only factor to consider when boating that time of year.

My time has been spent polishing my book for presentation to an agent at Sleuth Fest convention, and memorizing my pitch. I gleaned out any cliches. I've been advised to consider the many questions I might be asked. I've also been deep into current marketing trends and which work and which don't. Whether traditionally published or self-published. So very busy.

Valentine's Day was a great excuse for the hubby to buy me a new laptop, so this dinosaur has been playing around with a new toy and learning how to transfer via the cloud from my trusty desk top PC to the laptop.

To those of you I haven't been keeping up with in PMs, I haven't forgotten you. I love you dearly. Hoping you all have a very good weekend.

Good luck on the presentation. I'm sure you'll do fine! Looking forward to your book coming out!

Thank you sweet lady! For some reason, I'm truly at peace with all of this. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and I'm going to be all right.

That's my gal!! :)

NASCAR Racing starts tonight in Daytona Beach. If you watch Fox at all you couldn't miss the adds. Tonight is the Sprint Unlimited at 8PM. NOrmally it's a pretty good race. No points awarded so it's just slam, bam, fender rubbing for a million bucks. I'm watching it!! :w00t::)

Took awhile to wean from the WTA ... just took it slow and easy. I really didn't care about the "WTA" ... it was just the additional cost I wanted to get away from. At the time no one was selling WTA as and 'additive' so buying vendor WTA liquid was expensive.
I'm still buying it from a vendor. :( Don't think I can get off it for a while.

He (& his doc) wanted to get to 0 nic prior to his replacement. He vaped 18mg fer 'bout two months post-surgery and 'broke down' back to cigs. He knows da benefits, but just wants to vape while in da hospital fer a couple of days next week. Horse to water and all dat...

Am thinkin' I'll 'permanent loan' one of my iStick 20/nautilus setups to show up his ol' eGo/clearo gear. Ya never know...
He really needs to do it longer than that. The other things in analogs have a huge impact on healing. The longer he can go, the better & faster he will heal. Analogs are how I ended up with hernias in all three incisions from colostomy surgery. The last surgery I had was to repair all those, I started vaping right after I got out of rehab that time. In fact, that rehab stent is when I was sneaking the cigalike before I got out.

Like many others have apparently done, I Googled to find out what that song is playing in a Samsung ad:

Ya mean I paused Santana for that?!

a little side note.....many of you know there was a real Bojangles....but just in case ....:)

Now that was worth pausing my other music for. Makes me think of my uncle, who used to do a great Hambone! In fact, he could hambone to just about any music... good at it too, always enthralled me as a kid.

Can't remember if you said you were DIY'ing or not. But when things slow down for you, and we can have a play date, I can show you how I DIY and it is really super simple. Then you can just buy the WTA to add in without buying WTA juice. Not sure how less expensive that is, but I'm sure it would be enough to be worth it. Mike would probably know.

Howdy y'all!!

Should've smiled son.
I was smiling. :?:

Would love to find a place that uses graying hair for wigs for older folks with cancer.
I know they don't use the grey, but I still do it and don't care that they sell it. I just get satisfaction from donating.

NASCAR Racing starts tonight in Daytona Beach.
FS1 is showing a lot of good coverage of the practice and some history of Daytona.

Posted on the front porch too - Several days ago someone posted a Feb 5-7 20% off code for Fasttech and I will be dipped if I can find it. I wrote down KUNGHEI but it is not working.... Anyone?

@clnire - wanted to say Thank You. Just placed my order there, the code worked fine. After the code, a $6x.xx order was 52 even... got a nice little stash too. :) Two Odins, two Derringers, a Mutation X v2, three STMini bell caps, two STMini bases, one RBA head, two DTs, and some more stuff.

In about 10-12 days, I'll be watchin' the mailbox like a hawk... or more likely - like Wile E. Coyote, standing there, arms crossed, pattin' my foot.... waitin' on my order from Acme. :D

@umanbean, may take longer than 10-12 days. With them being on Holiday, they have to catch up. Then, if everything is in stock, it goes to the slow boat department to be prepared for shipment. Then on the slow boat, which I find usually takes about 5-7 days. Once in the States, then you are at the mercy of USPS, which has been the major hangup for most of my FT orders. You should get an email when it ships, so you can track it from then on.

But it's always fun to get FT orders!! I got one yesterday with several misc parts, some Kayfun Minis, and a few more misc parts ;) I ordered on 1/18, shipped 1/29 (not everything was in stock but I knew that), arrived 2/12. I order things I am in no hurry for, and they are GREAT for parts is parts!

Yeah, and I get upset and tense thinking about that, too.

I'm just hoping for you that a wonderful surprise will be beckoning you..yep, I'm an eternal optimist. (most of the time).

Good hearing from you Susan and thanks for the update! That Skyline Bridge at night sounds lovely.

Got back a bit ago from the appointment with my new primary. Wow, I couldn't believe the extensive testing she ordered but it's protocol for all new patients. Because I was asked if I ever smoked, I was given a breatholizer test for markers of lung capacity. Everything was good! They did want to know when I quit tobacco, so I told them seven years ago.
I did not tell her I was vaping as of yet.....have to get to know her a bit more. Bottom line, I do like her.....very proficient and probing!

Now, nap time! :)
I told my new primary that I quit smoking an May 13, 2015. I also told her that I was vaping. I saw she put me down as a smoker on my records despite that I'm tobacco free and it's not smoking. :(

Interesting.....how different doctors treat that. I told mine when I quit smoking, also that I vape.....I'm down as ex-smoker...

One of my all time favs ... thanks for posting 'em.

Even though it's 4 1/2 years I'm still listed as a smoker ... my primary said it takes 7 years no smoking before they consider you a non-smoker ... something about taking 7 years for your lungs to regenerate as good as they will after stopping.
