After saying it was cold outside I went online to see what the temperature was. It was 46 degrees Fahrenheit. So, I chastised myself for being a wimp and put on a light jacket, which improved the outside conditions dramatically.I don't think I have a good enough low-light camera to take a good picture of the night sky even using a tripod and a really long shutter opening, like 60 seconds. I was tempted to try, with a camera that's better than the quad copter camera, but it's cold out there tonight!
Then, I took a picture of the night sky using a 60 second exposure with my camera on a tripod.
Then, I used GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), which is a free program with thousands of different photo editing tools, none of which I know how to use, to try and produce a visible picture from the photo I had taken.
