OK......I'm back home now, and did re-size the picture I mentioned when Peter and I took the walk in the Park........It was so simple, that I'm actually embarrassed!
I suspect some will appreciate, others not....but, that's OK.

Why, thank you. She was my queen of queens. Attached at the hip. Unfortunately, I lost her on Dec. 27th to a very rapidly growing brain tumor. I am still lost without her. I then lost my other dog on April 15, due to very weak legs and loss of quality of life. Been a rough few months and will take quite a few more to get past. I still have my little one, Maddy. She will be 2 in August. She has saved us many times over the last 4 months.

It sure has been rough Kat, but you're coming along just fine......takes some time, as you well know, and I'm sure Maddy misses her.

I had to get the shot, too. It didn't bother me at all. I guess if you focus on it it might.

    Ya mean like last week?

From what I can tell everyone was well lit last week!

I love your garden & nature pics, Gracie! Look at that turtle stretching his face to the sun! Beautiful!

Let's see - you currently have 182 posts. When you hit 300 you become a Super Member. There is also something where a supporting member, which you are can select their own title...

    Here are the rules:

After looking at the status rules I realized I was only 3 posts away from the next level so I just popped into the Newbie forum and welcomed a few folks and voila, I'm now an ultra member. I feel so special now... :w00t:

Texas is drying up, then getting soaked again. I got caught out in a storm on Sunday afternoon & had to pull over twice. Once because the rain was too heavy for the wipers to keep up, & again when everyone in front of me came to a stop right on the highway because of the 2 tornados forming above us. They touched down about a mile away. I've never looked straight up into a funnel before. It looked like a funnel with the spout part cut off, just slowly spinning. There was another one forming right next to it. I think they combined & then touched down.
We got hit by an F5 tornado back in '99 and I don't like tornados. We are under a tornado watch right now. I have the wimp cellar cleared out and everything standing by. I have the news on and they are great at keeping us informed.

I lost a cat not long ago that my wife had given me on our 10th anniversary. It is never easy to loose one of our furbabies.

Let me help you @Flowersoul ... these are 2 pictures of the Rosetta Spoon Bill at the pond that Flower snapped. She was quick on the trigger to catch it in flight too.

Thanks Mike! In my picture file I was able to zoom in on that one, and if not mistaken, I think that Spoon Bill has a fish in its mouth or is going after one.......

    Kat,

Although you 'lost' two of your dear furry friends/family recently, you are truly fortunate to have Maddy!

Surely you're speakin' of our abundance of Florida sunshine...

Seriously, it was almost a 'dry' event, weather and otherwise; not counting pool/Jacuzzi/beach time and da solemn/reverent/appreciative toasts! Da cleaning crew must have had one hellava party Sat nite wid what was left on da Tiki House bar!

Can hardly wait 'til POII, wherever it may be!

Didn't know Gracie 'captured' dat shot! Wid dat and Janet's 'catch', even fer moi, it's exciting. We don't have many RSBs 'round here. And especially in our residential areas!

Yes, I am fortunate, Iffy. Without her, I'm not sure what would have happened. The older I get, the harder it is to lose them. Maddy brings life and fun back into my home and I am grateful. Gracie can tell you how heartbroken I've been since I lost my 2 babies. Maddy allows me to laugh through the tears....:)

I wonder how many posts I have to make to move up to the next level? That "Senior" member thing makes me feel old (er). Friday I'm getting my gray hair highlighted blonde again. I was always blonde until I cut it short and found all that dark dreary gray underneath. I'm hoping brightening up my hair will brighten my mood.
Problem is, back porch posts don't count toward your post count. :(
