I was concerned about the height of the bulbs because the shabby (cheap) light fixture has a very limited space for the bulb to fit in. Too tall and it won't work.....

First, Whale Oil lit my space, then they try and pry my cold dead fingers from the trusty Incandescent Bulbs that have served me so well for so many years .. finally, in an act that smacks of pure Evil, I hear they are going to Outlaw those trusty, toasty bulbs, so I reluctantly begin to move toward CFL .. and it's tough, worse than breaking up with a wife, I tell you ..
Now, this new fangled LED thing comes along and my Feng Shui has been totally and completely disrupted .. it's just another conspiracy .. no different than the Incredible Shrinking Toilet Paper Roll ..

Sounds like a wild time with the weather, stay safe. Used to have recurring tornado nightmares. No power is no fun. Is a sunny morning on the island, and I'm up early for me. That's a good start.
I'm gonna start digging out my paints, and get on with it. Got a commission for a black panther, not really my cup of tea, but a friend asked. I cant figure how to get images to post here either, it seems to want a JPEG file. I'm used to just using my camera roll.

Mine are the same height. I think they probably had to make them the same dimensions so they'd fit what people already have. When you see them up close the sizes seem the same. Yes and yes. My home is 'bout 80% converted to LEDs. Will say dat CFLs must of been lobbied inten$ively due to da HAZMAT concerns. Sorry I ever tried any!
I also bought a bunch of incandescent bulbs when da 'threat' was issued. Guess what? I've already have used 'em all and have yet to replaced any LEDs!

Those are vinyl for hospital use, because of sanitation concerns. There would be a thin blanket between the individual and the weighted blanket. Mine is cloth.

Well, we got your leftovers here on the island right around 2pm this afternoon. I was in the apartment packing to go home and heard thunder. I managed to get my car packed, and I was off to work and opened the gate just before the deluge started. It was wild and woolly here for about an hour or so, and then it flowed off into the distance.We got hit pretty hard early this morning. Lost power at about 5am... power was still out when I left at 6:30am this morning and not a single traffic light was working on my 7mile trip to work.
The video was blocked, which really disappointed me because I wanted to hear it. The passing of Prince hit me really hard. He was truly one of my favorites, and it was a total shock to me. The media has really ticked me off now with the way they are talking. The man is gone. Let him rest in peace. Sheesh!!
I didn't make it to the Odyssey, but I saw your story of getting stuck. I'm glad to see you posting because I was wondering what happened to you. At least you're safe.
