That is the kind that sits permanently on the stove-top. Might as well get a new stove with built-in griddle.

A 36" skillet would BE the top of the stove! Can't imagine using one that big, but I'd need another person or 2 to help me move it!

Wow.....I was thinking of trying to lift a 16" skillet......no way could I lift a 36" skillet. I'm sure that thrilled whoever ya gave it to though if they could maneuver it
My stove is a normal average size, with 4 electric burners. Any skillet more that 21" in diameter would be too large, because it would sit on the raised front lip of the stove top and raise the skillet off the burners.

Gracie, so excited that you'll be able to be there for the birth of your new grand baby! We've come a long way from when our kids were born. They were only starting to allow the Dads into the delivery room! I had rooming in so our son was in my room when my mother and sister arrived and they were promptly kicked out! Just last year when our DIL gave birth, both sets of grandparents were not only allowed in, but were able to hold the new baby!

Our daughter is going to have a baby in July while the Dad is in Afghanistan so it looks like I'll be in delivery with her as her coach. Hopefully Brian will be available to join us via Skype while Mike handles the laptop! Woohoo!!

That reminds me - we seem to be missing a picture of new twins or did I miss them?

A 36 inch skillet is for use over a fire or on one of these.

They were likely used in Chuck Wagons of old.

Good morning, porchers:) We only got an inch of snow last night. 16 degrees this morning and only getting to 19.
Good Morning Fran. Stay bundled up and warm. I've told Doree that if it's anywhere near the teens and iced up in Virginia we aren't going until it warms up. What's the point? My joints don't function well at all when it's below freezing and damp. Plus last year I almost killed myself just trying to cross the street. ;) The first project I have to get done upon getting there is to get the motorhome kind of ready to move and I don't see myself doing that when it's 20 degrees. Besides I don't want to go, I kind of like it here this time of year. I have no problem figuring out why so many Canadians come every year.

Anyone that calls a 10" iron skillet their lil one needs to rethink their conception of what is large or small...
rofl! It might be 8", dunno don't have a ruler. But it is indeed the lil one!

some flavorings a couple reg mods (don't need any more!)
well this part is kewl! the other part stinks. And Jup I agree with the sentiment!

They seem to be out of $30 plastic liters of nic at MFS. Oh, well. Maybe they'll find some in the backroom before I get paid? Maybe not. (Like I really need more nic!)

I had a cast iron cauldron left to me by my grandmother. However, just about the time she died, it suddenly disappeared out of the backyard. I know who took it. Just don't know what she could have possibly done with it.
dangit......both of these parts stink. I noticed that they changed the price, so that really must have been an error. Hope they honor the ones that were ordered though.

Our daughter is going to have a baby in July while the Dad is in Afghanistan so it looks like I'll be in delivery with her as her coach. Hopefully Brian will be available to join us via Skype while Mike handles the laptop! Woohoo!!
Wow.......surely hope he can join on skype or better yet that it's during his R&R if they get R&R. I know the Army is there for a year so they get to come home for 2 weeks during the deployment. At least they did, hope they still do. And since she's due in July.......tell her to shoot for the 14th!! hehehe

So we can call you Slick Willie now? Can we, huh? Im'ma do it anyway! [emoji48]

I was assured by Gracie the Lotion is non-greasy .. ;) .. although it could have other natural applications .. ;)

.. ;) .. in truth, during my younger days, I dated, and came close to marrying, a beautiful African American girl .. (truth is, a good portion of my life has been spent within the ranks of Latino and African American folks) .. at any rate, being somewhat of the odd man out, you understand, I garnered a few nicknames along the way .. Slick Willie was one (with all deference to Pres. Bill Clinton ;)) .. as well as White Willie and Cool Breese .. so take your pick, however, please stay away from Wet Willie in respect for the band .. ;) .. and don't ask me why your post took me to this story .. ;)

2legs is the authority, wait until he has a chance to weigh in.
Well I will tell you what I know Matt. I have the RX200model. The only thing I have used it on is Ti. If you were going to get something to experiment with a bunch of different wires the DNA200 model is more accurate but to change just about anything on the mod you have to do it through the Escribe SW. The RX comes with settings for Nickel, Ti, SS, and Power mode for Kanthal. Everything is changeable from the device itself. You Have to get used to the way Joyetech boards work by that I mean that for Ti I use 500F instead of 430F like the SX. It has reverse battery protection which the DNA does not. I love mine. You supposedly can charge from the USB I wouldn't recommend it with either. Everyone is hoping for a FW upgrade to have manual TCR. I have had not problems with mine, I use it every day. Bells has both models but I don't think he has messed around with the RX much. Heard they work good on SS but you don't have the option of setting it for anything but the one they use which everyone thinks is SS316. I have 6 batteries dedicated to that mod only, you have to keep the sets married up. Battery life is amazing. I get 48 hours if I'm using it a lot. Here's the kicker, you can get the RX at Vape NW for $39.95 the DNA at the same place is $149.95 but they throw in 3 HE2's which are good batteries but not as good as the HG2's. So if you are a techy I'd get the DNA it will print out pretty graphs of everything going on with your atty while you fire it. If you just want a good mod for Ni, Ti and I have heard SS316 get the RX for me the price diff is just too much for me and if you have problems with the board after the main warranty is up you have to remove the board and send it to Evolve and replace it when they replace it. You could ask Bells about the DNA a lot of guys use them but most of them are using fancy attys with complicated builds. I just took a vape off of my cheapo $40 one on Ti at 22w 500F .28build and it was great. I have been playing with my VTC minis so haven't been using it a lot so I haven't changed the batteries for a week. Still has some charge in them I think it is a great mod for $40.

Not going to ask, but......close your eyes.....I'll wager you can hear me giggling....
I do know who it was that called you Cool breeze...;)

You're just letting your imagination run wild .. ;) .. and, just for informational purposes, my adoption of Polyester Disco Suits was a short lived phenomenon .. ;) ..

Since posting seems to have veered into Weather Center, stay tuned .. I will report a temp of 21 when I got up this AM around 7:30 .. here in Fly Over Country, tomorrow is expected to reach a balmy 52 (breakin' out the shorts) :), with a low predicted on Sunday night of 6 ..

As with many things, I suppose I am the Aberration from the Normal .. I'll go on record and state "I like 4 Seasons" .. the one thing in the last several years, however, is my bodily tolerance for extreme cold or extreme heat has weakened from what it used to be .. I also like "The Four Seasons" ..

Which, as I think about it, two songs that deal with Rag Dolls .. each polar opposites of themselves ..

Dang it Cool Breeze!
That post has gotten me back on a Wet Willie kick again.

My "Drippin Wet" album has an edge-crack, so I can't listen to "Airport" or "That's All Right", the first two songs on their respective sides, on my newly refurbed turntable. Amazon has a "used, very good condition" copy of the album listed for ~$21 after shipping. I may just have to go ahead and get that.

I think the temperate climate is why I loved the Willamette Valley in Oregon so much. We had 4 seasons, but no snow. Yes it rained and was cold in winter, but not the bone chilling drizzle they get in Seattle.

Now I'm certain you can hear me giggle....

I posted this on the Front Porch too:

I just received a phone call from David at MFS. He's gonna be making a lot of phone calls!! The web site was wrong, 200mg should not have been there (for wholesale customers only) and the price was wrong for 100mg. I had them just issue me a store credit, cuz I know I will use it! But I really don't need it right now, so store credit.

We also had a cast iron cauldron that we would take out into the corn field and fire up, pull the ears off the stalk and boil em up, greatness
We would also use it to make hominey at the end of the season.

I told em to refund my order when they said they wouldn't even honor the 20% diy code for the 100mg
I just got the same call, got the store credit, & reordered 100mg using the credit & discount code, & my points. It took the code.
