Start on RObert Jordan's WHeel of Time series that will keep you busy for at least a week. IT is what 14? 17?(don't really remember how many it was since I read it over the space of years as it was written) 600-1200 page books?

Been there and did that. It was taking so long for him to get to the end.....I was sure he would die before it was finished.....and sure enough... but thankfully there was enough already written for the final book so that somebody else could take over and finish it.

Another good series....though old now... was Tad Williams "Dragonbone Chair" .

Iffy, glad your injury wasn't any more severe. Are you going to rearrange procedures so it doesn't happen again? Hope so.

The water is tuned off here. Water-pipe between buildings is not buried deep enough, and froze up. Weather prediction is sub-zero until Tuesday afternoon. Looks like they are rigging a by-pass pipe above ground with heat tape covered with hay and other insulation for the rest of the winter. Jolly.

There was a big pot in the Powerball lottery a few days ago.

Ham sting... was pretty well pooped last night.

Patty's legs just give way
"Going down!"
Shifted weight(s) to left to avoid landing on her
Half way down left ham string says "Enough, you're on your own!"
Dual visits to ER
Patty was OK, but extremely fatigued
Iffy has his left ham string sprung
Patty goes home with daughters
Iffy spends two nights getting his fill of poultry*

Only issue I'm having is part of that ham string is located right where I plop my left cheek on the toilet seat. Other than that, doing better than I thought.

cold scrambled eggs (stuck to the plate)
chicken noodle casserole
turkey & dressing
chicken salad

I'm having this weird urge to pluck and preen.

Of Iffy! That's awful. Not just the pain, but the food.

Bought my first-ever lottery ticket last Wed. - five Powerball quick picks.
Scored two hits on the Powerball number - 10. "Won" $8... heck, got almost all my $ back.

well I put in the order for 2 submarine tanks to use with my divers and another liter of nic from MFS. With the date for OMB to make a decision nearing (I believe it is Tuesday) I am hoping to slip these orders in before the general panic hits if things go badly.
