I has a sad. One of my long time best friends had to send her 14+ Terv girl to the Rainbow Bridge tonight. It was time, but it is still so hard. Godspeed Ayla, run free with Spock. :(
So sorry to hear that; they are a part of our family. I have two Mini Schnauzers one of which is 12. I dread the day when we have to part

Taken this morning at high zoom, with a pocket camera, through a not particularly clean window, from about 40 feet away, so not a very sharp image.
I'm still 80 messages behind, but has anyone mentioned persimmons and pomegranates in the food discussions?

Actually I believe they have but, not sure. Just walked in the front door in Virginia. Left at 7:30am, home in Virginia at 10:20pm. Not bad. I drove 5 hours and Doree drove the rest. Now all have to do is catch up 80 messages worth. Might have to wait until morning.

I actually thought strawberry rhubarb pie was an Amish dessert or just generally to be found in the east, kinda like scrapple or tomato pie.

We ate a lot of rubarb growing up in Seattle. Grew it in the back yard. Pie, jelly, cake, relish. By itself or with most any berry or fruit. Or raw with salt, like celery. (Deb!)

....to the Back Porch.

I'm sure you'll know some of the folks here...:D

Anyone buy a printer recently in the $100 price range that they're happy with. Looking for one that does duplex printing and will still print black text pages even if one of the color cartridges is low/empty. Had a printer once that wouldn't print black if one of it color cartridges needed replacing.
I bought an HP up at Costco for the house down in Deerfield Beach. Damn thing does everything through an app on my phone. Scans, OCR, full duplex, scans multiple pages to a PDF and prints real nice all for around 70 bucks (maybe a little more). Works great. If course you would ask right after we got here (Hampton). Damn if I can remember what model. If you had ask yesterday I could tell you.

Printer? I got one of these a bit over a year ago. Got Wifi? It is wireless and no problems. I even got a free app and print from my Kindle Fire to it, which Amazon says cannot be done.
If you want higher res color printing get the HP 4520. I have another HP I paid like $40 for 10 years ago and it still works fine.
Wife went thru 3 Epsons in 10 years ...

That's not it. Couple of models up though. Might be the 4520. Has a document feeder on it for the scanning bed.
