Well I got xrays and will have the results tomorrow. Feels better today. Still really sore. Ginny watched the xrays and didn't see any obvious breaks so it might just be a real bad bone bruise. They told me that takes a while to go away. I was able to walk in with Ginny on one arm and my cane in the other but the way these legs work there is no pressure on the end of your stump so it's possible that I just bruised the end of my tibia really bad. The swelling was better today too. When I went down I hit the end of my stump real hard and all that is there is the tibia where they cut it off. Will find out for sure tomorrow.
It's always better when you're at the doctor. I could be dying and I would feel great at the doctors. So glad it looks like it's not all that bad. Maybe we should so to you what Doree keeps threatening me with, wrap you in bubble wrap! :D

Hey folks - Who's got the best nic at the best price right now? Looking for a liter or two of 100mg/ml.
MFS has 100mg liters for $50 unless they went up in the last month. They usually have a diy sale later in every month. It'll give you enough discount to cover shipping, maybe a bit more.

Glad you got the x-ray and that it's at least feeling a bit better today. Getting it checked out not only tells you what's wrong, but what isn't wrong too and now you won't have to wonder. It's a good thing you've got your new legs now while this heals, in fact, might even feel faster since you're not putting pressure directly on the end. Jeez, we're going have wrap you and Matt in one of those bubble wrap things!
Yep the bubble boys.

Back from the laundromat at the truck stop. I got a ride over at eleven, and another friend picked me up at 4:30. Had plenty of time, so took my recoil kit. Was busy with it, and a trucker came in and knew what I was doing. LOL.
That.s cool!

I hope there's nothing more than a bruise. I was worried about the end of the bone messing up the muscle or what ever is at the end of it.

and, thanks to Gary, i just found this. i never knew my first blues heroine appeared in a film.

and, i never knew she was buried in Philly. another reason i may want to visit there some day:

Unmarked grave
The grave remained unmarked until August 7, 1970, when a tombstone—paid for by singer Janis Joplin and Juanita Green, who as a child had done housework for Smith—was erected.[20]
