I have been am there and it is not very pretty. I am still going with it one day at a time. Sometimes one minute at a time. Good luck to you and know we are only a few keystrokes away. Don't hesitate to call a friend to just say hi. Now if I can listen to what I say and do it myself.

It's always so much easier to give than to take advice, even your own.

One of the things that helps is to just get out. I was just thinking that I need a gym membership to take showers. Sure, I could exercise there too while I'm at it. That would be helpful also.

The problem is: When I'm depressed I don't want to do all the stuff I need to do to get ready to get out. And, if I get ready at home, I can so easily just not. Or, sit down for a minute and just stop.

So, if I had a place to go like a gym to take showers, I would be getting out before/without having to get ready first! Sounds, good? Then, I may even go ahead and mess around and get a little exercise while I'm at it. Bonus!

that sounds good. My dil just got a membership for one that is 10.00 a month. I asked her if they had a pool, since that's about the only thing I can do, but she said no. She keeps setting up times to go, then not doing it. lol But right now she has strep throat and some other kinda virus, so won't be going for awhile. Hope she's over it quickly

Getting out is a great idea and I do when I can. I have to be careful because I am on pain management and have to time going out with the pain meds and then when I get home the pain is increased greatly. I don't need a Driving Impaired charge. Also, being impaired in my right eye makes it difficult to judge distance. LOL, I know, always an excuse.

It's not an excuse to accept reality and accept your limitations. That just makes it more of a challenge. Like a puzzle.

Whatever a person's limitations, there just has to be the desire to get up and get moving. There are lots of creative ways to get some exercise without going to a gym or buying fancy equipment, and.....exercising your body creates endorphins.....;)

If you do a search on YouTube....there are even exercises you can do without getting out of your chair.

same here. I've shrunk almost 2 inches. Was shocked the last time they measured me. Wouldn't be so bad if I'd shrink width wise! :lol:

I have degeneratiive disc disease.

I'm sorry y'all have to deal with that. Back pain is a horrible thing. You can't even move without pain. Not good at all.

Thanks hun, but as you well know, we all have our things we deal with. Constant pain is hard, but I'm so grateful that I don't deal with a lot of other things that folks have to deal with.

Dang! The secrets out.
hehehe and he always comes through!

Matt;
I didn't see any $2 blackjack tables but saw a $5 table. Also saw a single-deck $10 table which seemed pretty cool to me, although I didn't sit down and play any blackjack.

OK, so is it uncool for me to say that I thought the Hoover Dam would be bigger than it is?
