I can tell you after almost 39 years of marriage that marital bliss is not overated. Happy Wife, Happy Life.
I think it's a good thing. Mine is 23 and sorry to say, although I do know better, she doesn't act like the sharpest tool in the shed. Love her to death but, she just got her damn car repossessed cause she didn't worry about it. Didn't think they would catch up with her after her move to FL. Stupid.When this thread was first created - I was the youngin at 55, but the non existent age barrier got busted a long time ago... We have had real youngins (20s) come through and enjoy a banter or two - if they had stayed around - none of ya'll would have to worry about bein the youngin...
Hmmm, now I got myself wondering - is not being the youngin anymore a good thing or a bad thing?

While I was in the Philippines - the weather lady was talking about the cold spell that was coming in the next day and how everyone needed to get their jackets out - it was going to be 72 (hahaha - I was wearing shorts and enjoying the great weather while the locals were all bundled up - freezing...
I MADE IT! Found the back porch! So how's everybody? It looks like some are a little "crispy around the edges" (he, he). Yes! Great musical line up with Dylan and very sad about Ol' Merle!
Turns out our weather is on par with the East Coast! It was 34 this morning and is 45 right now. What little snow we did get last Winter has been gone for weeks and it's tank top & cut offs time! Woo Hoo!!! (Oh, and, BTW, face down IS NOT the position to lay in the snow naked!(front porch thread) LOL!!!

Well Matt, not to be redundant (but not to be rude) I'll just click off the basics, bullet point style:
* Wife & I both smoked cigs nearly 50 years.
* Quit several times, several ways, 100% tobacco free as of Valentine's Day this year (YEAH!)
* Both hittin' Kanger Subvods, Hers: Matte Black - His: SS
* Already starting to DIY our own juices (thanks to A LOT of folks here!)
* Lifelong Alaskans (South Central, about 60 miles N.W. of Anchorage)
* Been "Outside" (To America/The Lower 48) twice, nearly 4 years and nearly 6 years.
There's no place like HOME!!!
* Heavy Equipment Operator, Harley enthusiast, Race car driver, fabricator, crewman - gear head in general.
* Love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snow & water skiing and Summer & Winter motor sports.
* SUPER HAPPY to be Tobacco free, FINALLY (and with unbelievable ease!).
* Last but not least, I LOVE the porches! (It seems like they are the "drama free zone" and that works for me!)
OK, now Debadoo, DO TELL more about the upcoming party in Fl. that you mentioned on the front porch
. It would be nice if it coincided with the 24 hrs. of Daytona or the 12 hrs of Sebring but that time has passed and it's just my greedy little wish anyway .Oh ya, did I mention it's GREAT to be here???

I'm also high school class of 1969. Metuchen High School, Metuchen NJ. If we had a chant that included "69" or "1969", I either don't remember or never knew.
