So...it looks like I might pop in on Wednesday.
I'll need REALLY good directions as I will be driving myself.
This is a big feat for me as (iffy knows) I don't drive much...

Classy and anyone else takin' I275 south thru St.Pete, whenever da signs say Bradenton, stay to da outside lane. Dere will be three right lane transitions. And you'll go over da Sunshine Skyway (think $1.25: and well worth it!) GoogleMap and most GPSs will get ya here.

If taking I75 thru/pass Tampa take da SR64W exit to Bradenton. You'll go thru downtown, but it's much easier direction-wise to get to da Tiki House.

If anyone has local travel questions ahead of time, please PM me! Also, if someone gets here and needs destination directions, PM me fer my cell phone number.

We had a wedding and an graduation I had to stop and think where has the time gone? lol And a good time was had by all!

... And I'm only 2+ hrs away!

BTW, locally, noise abatement kicks in at 10 PM. How many wireless headphones (fer dancing, ya know) are ya bringin'?

The owner of the house, with whom I am contracted, has made it very clear that this is a residential area and we should respect that. She has also let me know, based on the contract terms, she has had to have young people removed from the house by the police when their parents had rented the house for them and things got out of hand and the contract terms were violated. I assured her that we are a bunch of old coots who would be respectful to the neighbors even during the daytime and it is in the contract that after 10 pm there should be no noise.

I hope everyone has a great time in Florida. OK, I admit I am a bit of a geek. I have always liked Star Wars ever since it first came out. Another thing I like is Legos. So it was only natural that I started combining the two. I have a nice collection of Star Wars Lego kits. I am talking the kits that have 500+ pieces. These kits usually come with a couple of the small figures in them. Over the course of collecting and putting these together, I have come up with quite a few extra figures. Today I sat down and using a clock kit from Hobby Lobby, I put together a Star Wars Lego clock. The nice thing about it is I can always swap out the figures when I want to have a different looking clock.

Awesome idea! My wife thanks you for giving me a new hobby to waste money on. Lego collections here I come.

Great Grandaddy. She is in Texas where hubby is stationed and he is going on a 9 month deployment starting June 1st so he won't be back till March so she'll be by herself.
