Looks like I'm gonna be leaving work early today so that we can go down and yell at the doctor's assistants. We've been trying to get in touch with someone down there to verify that last Monday's appointment has been rescheduled and to get a refill on pain meds. Left dozens of voicemails and still no call back. Let's see how easy it is for them to ignore an angry hubby standing on top of their desk and demanding service. :grr:

Hahaha! Yep, "angry redneck hubby" mode engaged... I'm never happy when I have to leave work early to deal with someone else's incompetence. Now I just hope that the weather clears up enough that I can get some stuff taken care of around the house this weekend. Gotta start getting stuff in order. My sisters are coming down at the end of May, and they're bringin' the nieces and nephews to visit! YAAAYYY! The oldest niece is 11 years old, and I've never even met her.... Time to start getting back in touch wif family roots.

Again, I like that assertiveness. "Kid therapy" may be just what you and wife need for destressing.

Apparently, it is necessary assertiveness. It's impossible to trust that someone else will do their job, sometimes. It's just frustrating when one must neglect their own job in order to ensure that another person performs theirs. I try to be a tolerant person, in most cases. However, this in one of those things that just "pushes my button".

As for "kid therapy", I absolutely agree! We've always hated that we couldn't have kids of our own, so any time that we get to spend with kids is always "happy time"! :D

Good Morning Everyone from the final day of the Odyssey. I've had a wonderful time with the best group of friends a man could have. I really kind of wish we'd planned on a two weeks although I must admit I'm ready to go home. I miss Doree and AbbyDabby doggie a lot. The cat too but, can't admit it cause I'm sure he wouldn't admit to missing me. Doree says Abby misses me too. Says she seems to always be searching for something and wants to always get in the car. I'm seriously considering driving straight through instead of stopping halfway for the night. :)
Awwww, Abby misses her Doggie Daddy!
I'm so glad everyone was able to get together! Even just watching you all from home has been a wonderful experience!

Go for it Kazz! I had to do that at my PC once, & I've been going to the same 2 Drs there since 1978. The first one retired, & I'm now on #2! Only had to go get in their faces once in all that time.

I'm the same way, I hate incompetence.
