And we breathe fire.
There will never be a chance for that. You'll wait forever! Welcome to the Porches! Jump into the neverending thread Take 4. That means we've hit the post limit of 15K three times & are now beginning our 4th round. Pick a seat, a vape, & beverage of your choice & join us!Howdy folks,
Not sure if I'm sandwiching myself right in the middle of a thread (pretty sure I am. ..sorry). I don't think I've seen a longer thread in my life.
I'll keep searching for the end of the thread and keep my peepers open for a "Post New Topic" (?) so I can introduce myself.
I think I just might like it here.
Cheers everyone
True 'dat, but it sounds purtier when Unc sez it.
Congratulations on quitting smoking! Good for you! I retired 5 years ago unexpectedly. Best surprise I ever had! Watch out, we'll help you spend all your money upgrading your devices, & getting into DIY juices!Hmm, I'm getting the notion this is in fact one long thread. Am I right? (Yep, I catch on quickly :/ )
I was very happy to read there is a hang out here on ECF for folks over 55. Don't get me wrong, my experience on ECF has been wonderful so far. Such a welcoming, helpful group of people.
I'm a former cigarette smoker (just 4 weeks with a cig) and decided to give vaping a go. I'm still fumbling my way through all the information (so much to learn!) and the lingo but I'm very much enjoying vaping thus far. I'm happy to sit on my patio, which I'm doing right now, and vape away without bothering my neighbours with stinky cigs. Nothing like a guilt-free puff!
I live in Western Canada (BC) and retired 2 years ago. Now I'm enjoying my free time...a lot!!
I'm most grateful to have found this group and look forward to checking up on y'all. I can tell from reading many previous posts you are a supportive bunch.
Cheers!
Doree plays games online and this commercial popped up. I nominate it for commercial of the week. Iffy I think you'll find this funny as H...! Anyway I did.

Dogs, they're a lot like us! [emoji38]
Wow 12.5 watts! I've only pushed my SX Mini up to 10 watts. "Power to the Puffers!"Interesting results with getting back to vaping. I assumed that I would be chain vaping like crazy, but after the first day at home I've been vaping a lot less than I did before the hiatus. Can definitely tell from the amount of liquid I'm using and the time between charges.
It could be related to lack of flavor, since apparently prolonged steeping just makes my favorite flavors very bland. I've been using the Earl Grey tea pretty much right away after mixing, and my Burley Menthol Tobacco after a brief heating and about two weeks steeping. After three months the Earl Grey tea has lost almost all of the bergamot and the tea is very mild. Only a little bit more than the unflavored that I'm also using. The Burley Menthol, on the other hand, now tastes much more like smoking, which is not why I've kept using it. My experimental Julekaga has just gone bland, with the separate bread, fruit and cardamom flavors blended together so well that none of them can be identified within the mix.
I haven't decided yet whether to step down the amount of nicotine, with the probable result of vaping more often, and/or to increase flavors. I need to mix a batch soon, and will probably play around some.
Just realized that all of this post could have gone on the front porch, but I'll never get caught up there, even with skimming past all of the coil building posts. During my incarceration in the nursing home I was avoiding all of the more technical sub-forums since they just made me want to vape more than I already did. I did do the Innokin Disruptor contest post, and am happily tootle puffing along on my wonderful prize. It's way overkill for me, but it sure is pretty and I've been home for over a week and am only about halfway through the original charge. I have had it all the way up to a daring (for me) 12 1/2 watts.
