Debadoo, I'm not on hitch right now. I've been home since Thursday, and I only have one more day at home. I'm really leery about going back to work right now since my neck and left shoulder are killing me. So, what did I do today? I went out...did weed eating, and chopped a boatload of blackberry vines to death. I'm going to lay down on an ice pack now. :-x

Pancake syrup: regardless of the fact that pure maple syrup is supposedly better, and certainly more expensive than, let's say, Log Cabin, I find that if I had to choose one or the other, I'd take the Log Cabin.

Actually, a mix, with maybe 10-25% pure maple syrup and the rest cheaper syrup, tastes best to me.

I'm also one of those proles who usually finds salad dressing better than mayonnaise, and Country Crock better than butter.

+1 re: the Log Cabin. If there's pancakes on the table there's a Log Cabin for me and real Marple Syrup for Janet.

Good morning, Porchers!

Time to get ready for work. Yes, I started working yesterday! It's a nice easy job doing various computer tasks for a small business. Data entry, advertising campaigns/emails, website upkeep, etc. A nice variety of stuff in a very comfy setting.

Even better, it's part-time and daytime hours. So, I'll have an easy version of a more normal schedule than I had with my old job. Yes!

Well, time for breakfast, pills, lunch-packing, and such. Later.

Log cabin = good. Mrs. Butterworths = better
Maple surple... really depends. It's like beer. No two alike. But if you hit a good one it'll blow yer mind. Found one from Vermont years ago that was mind blowing. It was responsible for da condition my condition is in. :D
Problem is, forgot the name. Now they say Canadian syrup is best. Uh... nope. Log cabin beats it for me. And I've tried a few brands in search of that Vermont taste.

Nice, good for you. If you got to go back to work, sounds like a nice gig.

Just got an email from MFS - Unflavored Nic $40 per Liter (Use code $40NIC) So, I went to their site and saw the sale price was $50, then enter the $40NIC code to get it for $40. Didn't say anything about shipping so I entered the code to get it for $40 and an add popped up that I could get free shipping if I added the code - MFS-2L7P83-SHIP. Well, you can't add 2 codes so the order would be $50 with free shipping or $40 plus $5.95 with USPS priority shipping. I checked back in my notes and the last time I got a liter of 100mg nic (Sept 2014) I paid $40 with free shipping.

Anyway, the $40 was a great price so I guess $46 a year later is probably a good price too. Haven't seen it cheaper recently, not that I've been looking very hard. Just wanted to give a heads up if anyone was in the market for some stash.

woops. I got off schedule. lol What dancin said.......bad roto!! Hope it gets better very soon hun.

Gotta be Mrs Butterworth's for me. Not surprising we're polar opposites here. Although I can certainly do without the maple syrup so there's that. Mayonnaise for me, and butter is better! lol I used to use country crock til I accidentally left it out one time, got a lil melty, put it back in the fridge, next time I pulled it out, the part that had gotten melty and then re-solidified, now was clear goo that looked like vaseline. Been getting I can't believe it's not butter ever since, but I still prefer the taste of butter. Also saw that in terms of margarine, ICBINB, was second only to smart balance in being better for you.

Even better, it's part-time and daytime hours. So, I'll have an easy version of a more normal schedule than I had with my old job. Yes!
Yay!! Just take it easy hun.

Such a shame, but so wonderful he lived such a long full life.

Kewl, thanks for the heads up. If anyone needs and can get two of them, that'll get you free shipping automatically
