she will be sore for a few days. Both her noggin and tummy. Takes about 24-48 hrs to recover from anesthesia. Just keep her quiet, no jumping until stitches come out. She will be OK.{{{hugs}}}

Thanks, Iffy. The ground is so soaked already. It's been raining a lot every day this week and with beaucoup more inches very likely from Joaquin there will certainly be flooding problems and uprooted trees.OK, to our East coast porchers, Matt, Dave et al, please keep a close eye (no pun intended) on 'Cane Joaquin!
My fav weather blogger has an update HERE. Probably won't spend too much time on da porches dis evening in dat, besides being nuts, I really am a weather nut.
I hab eto break down the booth and hamd truck it out to my van. Not gonna be fun! Hum, why can't I suddenly not do paragraphs on my phone? Oh well.
kewl! Did you cut down one of the wraps to put on the tank as well? Love that look.Got that one from a seller on FleaBay. Lots of wraps there for only $6.50 or so. Lets me change the wraps when I want a different look without breakin' thebank.![]()
yay!!! Glad he'll be getting out, you need the rest!!! Jup as everyone said, definitely put up safety stuff in the bathroom also. Iffy (I think) brought it up, but to go a step further, talk to a caseworker tomorrow if you can, before he gets out of there if possible, to see how to get medicare to pay for quite a lot of it. May even do the garage steps, or there may be other programs that will do that as well. Sometimes churches or other community groups have folks who will come out and install rails etc as well.We didn't quite have the same idea at the hospital. They did, however, change it to discharging him this Saturday. That is still good news.I need to go find some rails and see how hard they are to install on the steps in the garage. Just 3 steps but they suggested it would be beneficial. Would probably help me also since I am such a klutz.![]()

that's weird I could only get 1 and 3. Is it a serial type thing, or just in the relationships with one another? Luckily I only will miss one if I end up liking it.The first episode of Limitless (the pilot episode) was a few days ago (Saturday maybe?). Episode 2 was last night, on CBS if I remember correctly.
My son's showers are somewhat textured, I wonder if those will still work on that. I'd forgotten about those, but had wondered when I saw them on TV if they really worked super great.They make handles that are held onto the wall or edge of the tub by suction. Just puthem where you want them & flip the little toggle switch & that sucks it to the surface. They are super strong, too
yay!!! We can't wait to have you home and on here and in da h/oToday is my Friday, and it couldn't have come soon enough. I can't wait to get the hell out of here!!
Jup I miss him too. Tutu said he was supposed to be back on more once one of the semesters was done, but he never did come back. Maybe he quit teaching, went to the bahamas and him and cave are partying all over the place!Watching Nature on PBS and saw a three toed sloth. Reminded me of Papa Sloth. Has anybody heard anything from or about him. Kind of miss old three toes.Last I heard he was teaching and would be back with us in a few weeks and that was months ago.
oh dang....I was thinking sometime back you'd said you were a couple hours or so from the beach, making me thing you were more inland. But I make up stuff I thought folks said all the time. Hope y'all will be ok, and no major power outages.Joaquin is looking like she's (he, it...) is coming right down our throats here in Hampton, VA.. If your.not quite.sure where that is, it's just across through river from Norfolk.
You might be confusing something I said with something Matt said. I'm a couple hours inland from the Atlantic Ocean, but straining your eyes from Texas to see the East coast it would look like Matt and me live really close to each other.oh dang....I was thinking sometime back you'd said you were a couple hours or so from the beach, making me thing you were more inland. Speaking of mice........oh dear, who took it!![]()
I have done several grab bar installations for an old friend (RIP) of mine and have a couple of "lessons learned" that might be helpful.AFAIK, unless 'they' have a brand new style, no, the suction bars will not 'adhere' to textured surfaces. In fact, I was going to mount another bar outside the shower door entrance, but the trim tile spacing wouldn't allow that. That's why I'll be investing in the metal bars.
kant seem to edit either.... But I gots smileys!Seems that all that rain has given you a cood...
It's a continuing series. Just a different crisis every week. Although there will probably be one crisis that continues from weemk to week. Like NCIS. I really like Scorpion, too.

They work really great! I don't think they'll hold if the wall is very textured, tho. Thet have to have a smoother surface to maintain suction.
