About once a year, a loud pop will be heard behind my home and a section of my neighborhood will go dark .. due to the abundance of "rats with bushy tails that look cute" AKA squirrels and one finding it's way to the transformer and somehow positioning itself perfectly in order to electrify itself and short the transformer .. one less squirrel, yay
..Fortunately, the Power Company is well versed in this Rodent Suicide and response and repair time has been minimized over years of practice .. in order to entertain ourselves in the meantime, folks actually go outside and, er, talk ..
.. and watch and wait for the Power Company Truck ... so, although the lowly squirrel has sacrificed itself, there is somehow a Greater Good that has been served .. ..I am saddened once again, as I have been too many times in the past, of another mass shooting at a College ..

Well, I just got back from the Dr.'s office, don't know why i feel so upbeat! oh wait...he was very good looking and extremely personable..duh... anyway I get to have not one but two surgeries...until then, no more crossing or spreading my legs....
can you believe it's a hip replacement?! No, neither can I...I could've sworn it was just a pulled groin muscle, but he took a couple of xrays and showed me where the bones were rubbing together to convince me.
Then he checked out my right wrist and said it was surgery time for that too!!! What!!! Guess i'll have to get busy n make a few dozen coils!
I'm fallin apart!!!!

Oh Robert ! I wish you hadn't done that.......INW flavoring is very concentrated.....I would have suggested you start with .1ml or less to get the lemon flavor you were going for in that recipe
NOT A Matter of flavor but some chemical in the flavoring. The CAP Juicy Lemon worked fine. Took my mouth several hours to straighten out.

As far as a second opinion, sometimes the x-rays speak for themselves. I got damage in my right knee a blind man can see. Apparently not thought if you read.my older posts. I can see exactly.where the bones rub so I'm sure replacement is coming soon. Sorry to hear about your hips Kay. Are you really gonna be healed up and dancing by the odyssey?

That's bad with a whole lot of good at the end! My cousin thought & was told for many years that his back was his problem. Then he went to a sports Dr, (cousin was a professional ballet & tango dancer), & found out it was his hip all along. He had a hip replacement last year & feels great. Yeah i know!!^^^^ I'm seeing a neurosurgeon soon for a full assessment ( hope they don't do a scan of my head)
Oh... the surgery, which ever one comes first, won't be for maybe a month or two.
Yah Matt.. i saw the bones all squished to gether, too, with just the exrays. But it's only the right hip so I'll be a Hopalong for a while. And you better believe i'll be dancing!!....maybe with a little use of a walker...
