Yes, I sprinkle it on carpets/rugs and let it sit for awhile, then vacuum. I leave it in places like under furniture for several days. Seemed to help in the past. We also treat dogs, any and all bedding and the yard. Our dogs usually pick up the fleas in a motel or at a dog show.Cathy, how do you actually use borax in the house? Just sprinkle it around the carpets and such then vacuum in? Not sure how to do it. As you can probably tell this flea thing has me concerned. Especially because I'm not there to do it and I need to tell my brother in law specifically what I want done and I want to make it as easy on him as I can. I know they have a life cycle that has to be broken. Kill the adults, kill the larvae and wait for the eggs to hatch and do it again. All of you all help is much appreciated.
Just learned a good friend lost a very nice year old Terv to a reaction to Trifexis, one of the oral flea/tick meds. I can't use Frontline or any topical on Tasha because she has a reaction. Used Frontline once and she started freaking out - fastest rush to a bath ever! Fortunately she was fine, but I won't risk it on her. Geordi seems fine with Advantix.
