Dear Matt and Kenna as well as all fellow Texans; also, all others in the path of the hurricane. Please stay safe. I can't believe this one. We have had a few hurricanes in the northeast, but nothing of this magnitude. Are any people being evacuated to a shelter? I can't believe the amount of rain I have been hearing about. You are in our prayers. We will be watching the news and keeping our fingers crossed for all of you folks.

Nothing in particular. Been having some tightness in my chest and will break out into a sweat just sitting in the living room watching the tube. I had an appointment for my annual cardiologist check a day after I got diagnosed with lung cancer in 2012 and didn't make it and I'm just getting around to doing it. Got a cardiolite stress test next scheduled next Monday and a Echocardiogram on Wednesday. This dude don't fool around. I've had 2 cardiocaths with him in the last 10 years. If he thinks you need checking out, stand by it's coming!
We had the Miles man today and I am pooped! He's getting mobile - gonna be crawling any minute and I'm sure walking is not far behind. I thought he was going to skip crawling and go right to walking. And he doesn't want to take a nap! Good for his parents that he goes to sleep at 7:30 and doesn't get up till 6 or 6:30, but that doesn't give us a break! Anyway, playing catch up tonight -

Roto, been thinking about you and hoping you can get this shoulder/arm/hand thing fixed up quick and easy. Everything looks better when you're not in pain and working properly.

Good to see ya and hear you're doing well, Russell! Temperature control and different kinds of wire are what's new since you were last here. A few of us have dived in, some are enjoying it, some didn't find the water refreshing and some are waiting for improvements before thinking about getting in the water.
I wasn't sure from your first post, Matt, whether your appointment was prescheduled. I think some doctors give stress tests by making you wonder whether they're going to give you a stress test. My best wishes that the exams find nothing major.
I had a brain scan and they found nothing, yuk yuk.
