Thanks Legs and Gary. Checked it out and signed up.

And that Patrick Williams "rant" piece was awesome!

There's an old saying, something about Sun.'s a day of rest, so I'm gonna put on my nice warm chenille robe and fuzzy slippers, take some cold meds and my vitamins, make some hot tea, toast and Lipton's chicken noodle soup and vegetate!

The lounge chair, boobtube and/or my nice thick warm bed in a dark room is the order of the day!

I earned it...I deserve it...and I'm gonna have it:p

Oh, sorry to hear you don't feel well. See, all that "exercise" you got moving has taken it's toll. Your body is telling you to take a good rest, maybe even tomorrow too! Chalk up a 2nd day to recovering from the time change. It just feels wrong for it to get dark so early!

I might do that too, after I get off work.

Wow, you have a chenille robe and fuzzy slippers too?

I had but we beat that and that was just a tax. This is the feds and they want to outlaw everything. If it was just a tax that would be one thing but they want to protect our health and the poor kiddies.

You see?!!! That's what I'm talking about. I don't need the doggone Feds to protect me OR my health. It's none of their business!! And when my kids were growing up, I protected their health. Now they are adults and can protect their OWN health!

The health care industry may say they want to reduce the incidences of cancer, however they are a business that makes big money off of cancer....

You can't convince me there isn't a cure for cancer out there. But, then, that would really screw with the pharmaceutical companies!

Poor Tasha (one of my dogs, actually my avatar, for those that don't know who she is). The time change has her all gaflooeyed.

And that's yet another thing. Why can't they just leave the doggone time alone?!! Twice a year this crud messes with my biological clock. Dang, looks like I'm ranting too. :-x

Rained all day here but I still made it to Wally World for groceries. Same weird people there that are in there in the middle of the night, just. . . more of them. I was gone for two hours today and dad did just fine.

Yep another sleepless night so far. I was worried that the time change would mess up my circadian rhythms after I think I finally was getting them together. Hopefully this bump in da road won't mess things up too bad. Iffy, sorry I missed ya. Prolly coulda stayed around longer (obviously) but didn't want to mess up the POSSIBILITY of sleeping. So much for that idea.

I think him winning would be really cool. He set the standard for the new batch of up and coming young drivers. Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, etc. Everybody thinks we should just shift our allegiance to Chase Elliott because he's going to be driving the 24 car. I'm not so sure. Really haven't made up my mind yet. I really like Kyle Larson but, don't care a hoot for the team he drives for. :nah:

Hope this doesn't make anybody quesy. I thought it was pretty cool and definately gets the message across...
That's really cool! I have insomnia as well. I'll fall asleep for four hours, wake up, and then have to take herbal sleep capsules. Valerian root helps a lot along with one benadryl. But valerian root can cause intense heartburn for lots of people. I take a couple zantac with them. It really does help me to fall asleep.

If I have too much on my mind and it interferes with my sleep, I get up and write about all my worries and things that scare, upset or bother me. I have found that when I write down my thoughts -- actually try and empty my mind of the stuff that keeps me from falling asleep, I am able to drift off easier. I combine as many methods as I can. It does not always work, but it has helped me know what is keeping me awake. Sweet dreams. (I sleep eat.)
