That's really cool! I have insomnia as well. I'll fall asleep for four hours, wake up, and then have to take herbal sleep capsules. Valerian root helps a lot along with one benadryl. But valerian root can cause intense heartburn for lots of people. I take a couple zantac with them. It really does help me to fall asleep.

If I have too much on my mind and it interferes with my sleep, I get up and write about all my worries and things that scare, upset or bother me. I have found that when I write down my thoughts -- actually try and empty my mind of the stuff that keeps me from falling asleep, I am able to drift off easier. I combine as many methods as I can. It does not always work, but it has helped me know what is keeping me awake. Sweet dreams. (I sleep eat.)

I write about what's bothering me too. Mostly here. I've quit recently because I didn't want my friends to think that all I did was whine to them. Might have to rethink that!

It is pouring today. We are under flash flood warnings. I am thankful that we do not have any problems here. Other than my dogs bladder's are quite full. I'm glad they don't sneeze often like me. Lake Rat overflow's sometimes.

Good morning Scott. I asked Perry the owner of Varitube about what is going on and this is the reply I got.
We don;t know whats going to happen but I don;t think it'll be that dire and we'll have lawsuits following I think if anything crazy happens....but yes its scary. In my opinion Mechs are the big problem. Kid down here just seriously hurt himself but we know little of what happened other than it appears to have been a tube mech and the battery exploded

Just got a break long enough to take the AbbyDabby for a quick poop walk. She absolutely refuses to poop closer than a block away! I don't care how bad she has to go.

Probably her keen sense of smell that inspires her to make her deposit at a distance. Or maybe to not let other dogs know where she lives.

You see?!!! That's what I'm talking about. I don't need the doggone Feds to protect me OR my health. It's none of their business!! And when my kids were growing up, I protected their health. Now they are adults and can protect their OWN health!



You can't convince me there isn't a cure for cancer out there. But, then, that would really screw with the pharmaceutical companies!



And that's yet another thing. Why can't they just leave the doggone time alone?!! Twice a year this crud messes with my biological clock. Dang, looks like I'm ranting too.

I "lived" there for 2 weeks. Ok, it was just a visit, but I did a lotta livin in them 2 weeks! and my sister from another mister lived there all her life, so I'm countin it! And I typically do root for the Saints as long they aint playin my beloved but totally inept Dolphins!
