Can't seem to post pics of my new set up. Tried on phone, just spins. Tried to e-mail from phone to computer and save, then the file size is too big to post here. And frankly I am too new off analogs to have any patience with technology right now :) It is back together and working for now and I hope to have better luck next time I have to fill it! If it messes up again and I can't get it back together I will try to post pictures of the piece parts. Thanks everyone for your help!

Have no idea how I managed to do this :) How do you delete a post?

Don't you just hate it when the top unscrews off of the base while still on the battery!
A couple of times for me.
oh yea, happened to me today but fortunately I realized what was happening before I made a mess! I rry to remember to turn it upside down before I unscrew (have at it guys, this should be fun!).

Robert, my old tech buddy, I am glad you have some new toys to give yourself a break in the stress. You are doing a fantastic job of watching over your dear wife's care. Glad she is in a place with more calm and more personal care. Geordi's breeder is an ER nurse and the stories... OMG! It's downright scary.

I was in a relatively minor car accident years ago. They ambulanced me to the ER. I was fine when they took me out of the car, but after over 4 hours strapped to a board on a stretcher in a cold hallway of the ER, they told me I had whiplash and had to wear a neck brace for weeks. What I am saying is stay on top of her care. Frustrating now but it will pay off in the long run. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife.

I had lots of practice I was a co caregiver for my mother in her final years with dymensia. Now that was rough. I worked from home over the internet and mom lived with one of my sisters. And my sister was trying to hold down a college teaching job. Math no less! It was too much for her so I moved my work location to her home for some time. It got quite bizarre sometimes.

Lix go to youtube and search for Protank mini vids and see if that is what you have.

Great idea Robert! Looks like I have the K ProTank Mini 3. I did ask the guy at the shop to make sure he gave me the box after he set me up and I tried it, but it is not in my bag :(

I just had a thought, Liz. When you are filling a top fill tank, you have to hold it by the body, not the base, when you unscrew the top to fill. And when you change coils on a bottom coil tank, make sure the coil is in correctly, be careful of cross threading, & tighten the coil "finger tight". Don't over tighten, you might mess up the silicone seal or oring under the coil & will eventually strip the threads. Same with sealing the top. Finger tight is good.

So... I bought a decent set up? It wasn't a kit. I got: 650 batteries (2), a box of coils, this tank, 2 small bottles of juice and a charger for $55 (I am in CA).

And Robert, I was reading some of your posts on the health issues your wife has now, and how you handled the bad situation today. I was cheering for you! I would have done the exact same thing! My Mom lived to 90, and in her last year was in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Those employees knew better than to mess with Earlene's daughters! We didn't ask for much, but when we meant business, they knew it. Good for you, you are a wonderful husband!!

You did ok on the price for a B&M. Could have done a bit better online, but not bad.
Yeah I am a quiet mild mannered guy who avoids confrontation but when I get riled up over something like that. I take no crap and write down names.
Too many people take advantage of nice people....

You can probably see the tank name engraved on the base, near the word Kanger.

According to the video that Liz posted, it's a bottom fill.

Tank and batteries were $10 each, coils were $13, juice was 2 for $10.
GOOD price for a B&M.

so for less than the price of a carton of cigs most places you are set up. Learn your equipment and envoy the Vape Life. So much more enjoyable than smoking and you will notice an improvement in your wind pretty quick. Things taste better too.

Wow, Robert, you've been through it for sure. Please take care of yourself, too. Dealing with any kind of medical issues is rough & stress full for everyone involved. I have so much respect for the Drs & Nurses, & Aides, & Techs in the medical field. I think they go on overload after a point in the day & just start zoning out. I'm sure they deal with many patients that are unnecessarily demanding but real issues need real solutions, not brushing off. It takes a family member or friend to step in at those times. Good for you!

My turn to rant, fair warning, this will not be very pc.

I agree that the current events in Paris are horrible. I feel for the people there, they did not deserve this outcome.
However...
In the past several years i have heard report after report of France opening itself up to middle eastern immigrants, legal or not, taking in all comers. Then i hear reports of violence from young islamic men, cars burning in the streets, etc.
I also hear repeated reports that the french government was choosing not to deal with this "minor" violence due to perceptions of intolerance against islamics.
Then this happens.
Those of us who are parents understand this. If you dont deal with bad behavior when it starts, it will escalate.

Again i feel for the people of France, but the French government dropped the ball, and should take some of the blame.

As Robert said, you did fine although you could have done better online. But when ya need new stuff NOW, those are not bad prices. You could have done MUCH worse, and it sounds like the guy behind the counter did a good job of setting you up.

Next, DIY juice! (Many of us do, and the cost is less than $0.10 per ml.) Does require acquisition of flavoring, VG, PG and nicotine juice, at a minimum.

Question: The nic level on my cigalike was 24mg. This juice is 20mg nic. Do I ingest a lot more nic with the protank, if I am vaping about the same amount of time? Sorta feels like it.....
Yes you will get more nic, you might want to consider 12 mg for your next juice purchase.
