Not soon enough. We're making real progress but, seems like we're not making enough. It's just Doree and I and I am not much help. I wish there was some way I could hire some folks to take care of it but, some things (motorhome) I have to do myself. Nothing seems to be going right. I've got a rental property that is just sitting there empty and sucking money. Got a new realtor handling it and I'm not sure it was the right decision. Every month it's not rented is $800 down the toilet and I can't afford it. Same thing with the motorhome. Need to go up to the motorhome dealer and work a deal for them to repair it and sell it on consignment but I have to get it cleaned, running and some interior work first. Every month I can't get it done $400 out the window. I got nobody other than Doree helping and I can't even stand up out of a chair without pain. I'm ok once I get up but it's been so long that I'm really out of shape and with COPD I'm outta breath almost immediately. We'll get it just taking forever.
Sorry for the venting but, I guess I gotta sometimes. I've always been the one who says let's go I'll help, is Saturday ok? Now, where are all those people when I need help. Disappointing to say the least.:-x:?:
Welcome to my life.

Of course a lot of the people having problems were running some atties I've never heard of with a quad clapton twisted nichrome and nickel with one running titanium and ss. Sheesh.

Pat, I have to admit to still being a Luddite on my PV use .. still using some Twists, EVODS I actually got from TX and carto/tanks .. I had no idea that Eric Clapton had a PV out .. ;) .. live and learn .. although I do know that Snoop has a new line of, er, substances and devices .. ;)

I thought about you the other night when I rented the new Terminator movie .. ;)

Until you spoke of it, that particular hazard of artificial legs never occurred to me. What kind of adjustment would be done to make that less of a possibility?
Well I'm getting too far down in my sockets and they are too loose at the bottom. My stumps have shrunk which they just do so they have to make new inner liners that squeeze my stumps a little more and tighten things up or perhaps make new sockets and put these ankles on these. You can only tighten them up so much with socks and I'm at 6 plies right now but they aren't fitting tight enough. Just one of those things. They scan your stumps load it into a computer and the computer makes a new mold to put the carbon fiber around and fiberglass then cover them with spandex of your choice color wise, I usually get something wild and laminate it on. How that just to have good lookin legs.

You know what Willie I just use one type of atty and one type of mod but I have 10 of 1 and 5 of the other. I am trying out a new wire which seems to be working pretty well. It's temperature control but you treat it just like Kanthal. Pretty weird going back to dry firing your coil and squeezing it with tweezers then dry burning it to clean it. But I'm only on day 2 with it but it's working pretty good at 400F.

I think it depends on how accurate the device is. I think the cotton will singe at 420. What gauge wire you using. I used 28 because I didn't like the warm vape that 26 gave me. If you are using 28 try 26 if you are using 26 just don't let your tank run dry.
I'm using the 0.15 ohm coil head that comes with it. You get a pair of them with it. We'll see how long it lasts. On about my 3rd tank and it's still vaping pretty darn good. I'm probably make up one of my new Kayfuns with a Ni200 coil rayon and see how that works. If I remember correctly Patrick you sent me both the nickle and the rayon. Thanks buddy. :)

After downloading escribe and going to the evolve early adopters forum and reading all the problems people are having with all different kinds of DNA200 mods I decided to wait on getting one. With the SX I rarely see any problems on the forum but thats on ECF don't know how many there are actually. Plus I don't like the short warranties.
Don't forget that Busardo's definately a Evolv fan boy. Not that I think he is going to make stuff up.but, he might not look at it quite as hard. ;)

Plus the fact I was looking at some graphs and the YiHi board is almost as accurate as the DNA where it faulters a little is up around 500F. I never go there anyway.
I'm thinking of buying the YiHi board and building one. I think that's the only way I'm going to afford one. :)

@bigbells check this link out you might have to register but if you are getting a DNA200 you'll want to anyway. Not sure if the stuff on there is wide spread and the problems could be just because they are using some really complicated builds. I've seen pics of some and I don't know how they do it. I saw one of a dual coil 26awg NiFe48 twisted. Took about a 180w preheat to get it up to temp. A lot of them blow fuses not user serviceable and I have a suspicion thats where the problem lies. With a simple Ti build or NI200 or even NiFe or SS it probably would be fine. Some of these guys go nutz on these good thing there is a fuse.

Yeah the new board will probably be available soon and it has settings for the temp curve but that means that YiHi will probably be letting companies use the 350J board in some less expensive mods. They came out with the Vapor Flask and I've heard it is a plastic piece of crap compared to their others.

My ipv4s has a yihi board, it was only about $80. I have thought about trying out the tc function, but im not that worried about it, kanthal at 15 watts does me fine.

Question - I am trying to 'get through the night' with some juice that is way too strong nic, making me a little sick (as I posted before). Stores closed today so i didn't get new juice. I have been looking at youtube and not seeing what I need.

I have vodka, a syringe and a small glass bowl. Can I just do the mixing this way and then use syringe to load tank from glass dish? What would be proportions of store bought 20mg juice and vodka be to get my juice down to approximately 16mg or so? Or is this just a bad idea o_O

Thanks!

That much vodka might not agree anybetter that the nic. Try going to CVS or Walmart & pick up some vegetable glycerin then use it & some vodka to tone down the juice you have.

I lied down on the kitchen floor three times today, kneeled on the floor twice, and was able to get back up all 5 times. I was fixing my dishwasher. The water intake hose had come off underneath the built-in dishwasher a few days ago. Anyway, dishwasher is now working. I had to get it done today because I ran completely out of clean silverware two days ago.

Prior to dealing with the dishwasher, I went outside, pulled the heavy roof off my pumphouse, and adjusted the water pressure switch in the downward direction. The high pressure I'd been using for a good while was a major factor in the dishwasher hose popping off I'm pretty sure. The roof is still off because I'm going to clean up and wire-nut the aging electric connections but didn't get around to it today before dark so I'll wait for daylight tomorrow.

But, no leaf raking. That is something I haven't done at this location for the 22 years I've lived here and I have no intention of starting. I admire your fortitude, perseverance and physical fitness!

How do you deal with all the wolf whistles? Thanks for explaining; like having dentures times some number with several zeros.

Shoot, Matt, he's done like 6 hours of videos on the DNA 200, so I think he's looked pretty hard.
