Good morning, Porchers!

Tried quoting but ECF wouldn't let me post or 'like' posts!

Ne way, Kenna, I'm sorry you were treated that way; that really (in plain words) sucks.

Robert, yes, we can all be thankful for the important folks in our lives, and what's on the table is not really important as long as there is something on the table.
Looks like you're doing a good job!
I've found when the ECF behavior gets weird like that sometimes it will fix itself if I log out and log back in.

One of da best family room remodeling decisions I made was to replace da pool access sliding glass door with double French doors. They're da kind with mini-blinds sandwiched twix inner/outer panes; pretty much insulated and no mo' roller repairs!

BTW, this evening is gonna be just right fer sum Iffy smoked turkey fridge-dump soup.
I was planning that too but, since we are selling the place I have quit, quit I say, putting money into it!!

I agree with the 30 watt iStick. Or slightly larger, the Heatvape Defender. Or Wismec Pressa. I have several iSticks and Defenders, also a Pressa. All good. 50 watt Defender uses a 18650 battery.

Well Ginny's 2nd day without a stinkie. I only have a few bruises but I'll live. I keep trying to get her to try other flavors, I have a lot of good ones, but she is a stubborn slavian. She is just sticking to her 7 leaves at 3mg. That's fine because IDK if you remember when you first started vaping how it makes you cough but once you get used to vapor instead of smoke it's fine. I tried to get her to use more nic but she doesn't want to do that either.
Only a few bruisers, eh?! LOL
You done good by her, Pat!!! :)

She like the full size Nautilus that would be pretty big on some of those right?
Iffy uses those and he loves the isticks, there's also the 50 watt which is still pretty small, but he can show you in the hangout what the full size nauti looks like on both of them. She can see em too and see if she likes it or not. If it's too big for it in her opinion maybe one of the ones Cathy mentioned, I'm not familiar with those

The flank steak is really easy to make. Take a fairly good size flank steak, thicker is better. Fillet it down the middle lengthwise leaving one end connected. Your making it thinner and longer. You want to end up with a steak that is 1/2 the thickness of the original and twice as long all in one piece (hope that makes sense). Prepare 1 package of stovetop stuffing, your choice of flavor but, we normally use the cornbread variety. Spread the stuffing on the flank steak, like putting peanut butter on bread. Roll the steak up and pin the ends with toothpicks. Make one package of McCormick's Au Jus (the packaged stuff you get in the spices section of the grocery near the gravies). Place the flank steak in a roasting pan that has a cover (Corningware is great). Pour the Au Jus over the flank steak, cover and bake at 350 until the internal temp is around 155 degrees, basting occasionally. Remove from the oven and let stand about 10 minutes, carry over heat should finish cooking the steak, looking for an internal temp of 165 right before slicing. Slice crosswise and serve with some of the Au Jus spooned over it. We normally serve it with a vegetable like broccoli or asparagus. It's really good and very reasonably priced, especially if you get the flank steak on sale. Doree and I can get a couple of dinners and depending on the size, a lunch out of it.
TY for the recipe, Matt!

I have monovision lenses (the soft ones)...they're great! Don't have to wear reading glasses anymore. Having dry eyes, my eye Dr. told me to start taking fish oil...no more dry eyes!

Yes, please and thank you!!!!

This just breaks my heart! So sorry you were treated this way. I hope you enjoy a nice peaceful Thanksgiving! {{{HUGS}}}

Oh! I'm supposed to take fish oil but always forget yo grt some. On the list to get! Thanks, Sushi. And don't feel bad for me. Pay back has insued. We got word this morning that my Mom's oldest sister passed last night. She'd been in Alzheimer's care for 3 years, & got pnumonia. I can't make the trip, so guess who gets to do it. She'll get about 72 continuous, uninterrupted Mom time. I'll have peace & quiet for the same amount of time. [emoji38] I adored & will miss my Aunt who was a life example & inspiration to me, but....[emoji38] [emoji38] [emoji38] [emoji38] [emoji38]

What elevates blood pressure? Several months ago, I had a whole glass of wine. Then next morning, I felt uncomfortable, and checked my BP, and it was way high. A nurse-friend suggested the glass of wine was the problem. I have a history of heavy drinking. Will not have more than a sip or so to taste, from now on.

So, I have been sleuthing with the home bp monitor. Full-caffeine coffee is a trigger, went to half-caf, and much better. Decaf tea and coffee for afternoon and evening.

At 3mg, my vape is not a problem, although I seem to be cutting back from 15 ml a day.

Salt is supposed to be a problem, but I don't like highly salted foods, anyway.

Dehydration is supposed to be a problem, so I am working on it.

Stress is a problem, so I am working on some meditation strategies.

So what else?

Had a good lunch. Braunswieger on white with mayo and sliced tomatoes, glass of buttermilk, couple strips of dried country ham on the side.

I always thought that hilarious when I lived in Tampa. It was a real thing. it would get down near freezing for a few hours and you would see people in fur coats.
I guess relocated northerners looking for an excuse to wear their furs?
Old people on blood thinners. It can be 90 in hrre & Mom would be cold.
