Yike's already! Thanks for bringing this forward semi-. Odd thing though, I'm assuming you didn't do it on purpose. All the text in your post was 'white text' after the date 'Aug 23, 2015'. In you quoted msg above I changed all the white text to red. hmmm ... what's that all about.

Well, since we are at the start of a new year and I have not provided an update for awhile - I figured it was about time to do it.
The current Back Porch thread Part 4 was started by MikeE3, on Aug 23, 2015. Approximately 132 days ago.We are currently at post number 13,550 - so that means we have been averaging about 103 posts per day fairly consistently.
Now we have had slow days with only a few posts, but there have been enough busy days that the slow ones got drowned out by the following rush of posts that followed.
Topics - to many to lists - a plethora of random thoughts have been diced sliced and chewed over the last 4.5 months. We have made a lot of new friends over this time - Welcome to all of them and to the lurkers that still have not come out of hiding also...
We are currently approaching the end of this thread and the startup of part 5 around the 17th of this month.
@MikeE3 You might want to start getting your thoughts together now... It is just around the corner and coming up fast.

My new year started out with a BIG ole bang!!!!!!!
My GD got the mail for me a few days ago...nothing good, flyers...tons of flyers as usual... a few letter-size envelopes, one from Medicare and one from GM....Medicare was my latest statement and I thought GM was basically some legal jargon but a little bit ago I decided to open them anyway...good thing I did....
inside the GM envelope was a check for $500.00!!!! Some legal jargon...but who cares!
This new year started off with a big ole bang
Me and Chey are going out for steak and crab legs tomorrow
So now I need to really be aware of how good my life is...in spite of myself

Well I wast actually born the day that bulb emitted a flame, but that’s neither here nor there, I just don't use them in the house, lol. I could care less what other folks do, and I knew I was probably making a big mistake disclosing information about the things that I personally choose to do, lol.
I use them in the shop, garage, shed, any place where my family does not sleep. Am I off the hook now?
And a large enough CFL to be useful in my "Husky 75 watt metal shield incandescent trouble light" will not fit because of the ballast, hence the description.
Purchased an LED ceiling light fixture the other day for our kitchen, and am going to install that this afternoon, have a nice day everyone.

i use the sylvania 60w mini CFL's in my droplight.
Maybe he is wondering whether the mods will let us pile them up past 15,000. I sometimes get a script-disabling bug, have to close the tab and reopen it to get it straightened out. I did do some changes to the text - not that kind of change though - must be because I am on the dark theme and what I did came out differently on the regular screen. I will have to be more careful in the future - Good Catch Mike...
