As I recall......your first attempt with the juicer was a wonderful comedy event......with flying bits and things added that should have been peeled,,,,,but weren't.....

Yes, well, that just added additional insult to injury .. ;) .. I have, however, never been tempted by a colon cleanse although they seemed to be all the rage for a while .. figuring the occasional colonoscopy would suffice .. ;) ..

May be old and half forgotten but, damn if it doesn't look comfortable. ;)

I try to make sure the sleeping bag stays clean, since on those cold Fall days, sometimes one of the fine Ladies of the Porch will need a bit of snuggle and warmth time .. what happens in the Recliner Stays in the Recliner .. ;)

A full colonic always sounded plain bad. I wouldn't even consider it.
My sister was a RN at the Public Health Hospital in Baton Rouge and she can tell some stories related to that area that would have you in stitches. Can't post em here though. Most of them were related to the happy people.
Anybody in the hangout. I just tried to join the call and it won't let me. Says "Unable to join call" or some such and dumps me out.

And, speaking of the Fine Ladies That Populate The Thread .. let's toss a few out that I'd call "Odes to Blue Jeans" .. may you always be "Forever in Blue Jeans" .. and a little "Junk in the Trunk .. ?" .. hey, as long as they fit just right ... :)

That is a stunning photo even if it was an accident!!

LOVE your porch! All that firewood. I love a fireplace. Inside or out, a fire, & a book = peace.
Don't forget the vape!! :)

Good Morning Porchers.
My wife decided we needed to add something different to our diet and started fixing Kale a few times a week to go with our dinner. I didn't really care for it but decided that being silent was the better thing to do. After about 4 months of this being a part of dinner, my wife said she was going to stop serving it. A bit surprised, I ask why and she admitted she found out it should have been cooked and she really didn't like it!
Well, time to head out and do some shopping. Have to pick up a birthday cake for my daughter. She is in a bit of a mid-life crisis. She is having a hard time accepting she is now 35. Or as she likes to say, 29 with shipping and handling. lol
I love that; too cute!

In a rare attempt at Healthy Lifestyle, I once bought a Juicer from Jack LaLanne when he was peddling them on an infomercial .. the primary ingredient was Kale, along with various other fruits and vegetables .. I choked down 3 glasses a day of this swill for a week no less .. deciding eventually that subjecting myself to self inflicted Inquisitional Torture which I felt was originally invented by Torquemada would fit the saying of "The juice is Just Not Worth the Squeeze" .. however, I will say, it did have a "cleansing" effect ..

My general policy with the Ladies, whenever an age conversation comes up is to stick with "You don't look a day over 29" .. :)
Willie, I still have my Jack LaLanne's Health Master 100 and do use it on occasion.....especially for big pots of soup whose ingredients need pureeing.

It wasn't a mistake. I say the shadow on the screen and the frond of fern lit by the early morning sun and grabbed my phone an took about a half dozen pics and that was the best one.

For your appreciation of the mature female, (we are like a fine wine ya know ;)) you will always have a place in the hearts of the Ladies of the Porch.

Yes, a fine wine indeed .. and now, since you've inspired me, let me count the ways .. here we go ..

1) A Mature Woman generally knows what she wants
2) A Mature Woman will not necessarily expect a Knight in Shining Armor to sweep he off her feet, although she will be quite happy if one does
3) Numbers 1 & 2 more than make up for the fact that the Mature Woman may not be quite as toned and perky in various spots as she once was ..
4) Mature Women are very much more established and rely less, if any, on a Man .. this is a great stress reliever for the Man
5) Mature Women generally are not out to get a slice of the Man's Wallet .. this is a great stress reliever for the Man
6) Mature Women are much more in tune with the Real Things of Life .. they generally don't play head games that revolve around the
Materialistic Ideals that are shoved at people through the Media .. She has her own Mind ..
7) Mature Women are proud of their Life Experience .. they tend to embrace their History .. Most Men Like This, a lot
8) Mature Women tend to be emotionally Independent .. they are not constantly seeking some sort of approval and are not "clingy"
9) Mature Women are very much more engaging in conversations .. their life experience allows discussion of a wide variety of topics, many that young Women would not even think of
10) Mature Women do not tend to take a Man for granted

In summation, Mature Women do not generally need evaluation, approval or compliments, they tend to have a Take It or Leave It attitude .. yet when approval and compliments are tastefully delivered, they are very much appreciative ..

Substitute negative wording in #1-10 for a summation of Younger Women ..

Howdy folks,

Not sure if I'm sandwiching myself right in the middle of a thread (pretty sure I am. ..sorry). I don't think I've seen a longer thread in my life.

I'll keep searching for the end of the thread and keep my peepers open for a "Post New Topic" (?) so I can introduce myself.

I think I just might like it here.

Cheers everyone

Welcome to the best forum on the Internet and I am not bragging. Pull up a chair and tell us a bit about yourself. Don't worry too much about interrupting. The back porch is pretty much stream of consciousness. :thumb:
