Heh - I just pulled up all the weeds (grass growing in the flower beds) and trimmed off dead flower heads. easy enough to do... just takes a lot out of you. It only took between yesterday and today for the lizards to discover that I have provided them with nice perches to do their macho pushups on.Looks good. You want to come down and help me get the jungle in order when we get back down here in late November?

What a day! I was up and at 'em early this morning, stripping the bed, scrubbing floors, mopping the kitchen floor and everything else in between.
Then I had the nerve to go out with my daughter to a dance. Gawd, I hate going to a dance and can't get a man to dance with ya for nothing!! So, I danced with my daughter. We just put slow dances off limits. I should have taken pictures though, because the dance hall was on the other side of the levee from the Atchafalaya Swamp. You can tell there's some history in that building. It sits on Bayou Teche, and on the other side of the levee is the swamp. This link shows a picture of the dance hall itself. There was a blue tongue lizard in the back yard here once. I had to relocate him as at the time A friends dog was staying with us.
Even though we have many of the most venomous snakes in the world here you don't see them that much in urban areas.
Small Skinks are readily seen. Ants in the back yard the past year by the trillions, well one point counted around 50 + ant holes. Though in the winter they were less visible.

Looks like a good place to hang out. Hubby and I lived in Crowley in Acadia parish for a year or so, got married there, actually. At the time hubby was a relief captain on an oil survey boat. I remember us going to visit a ship mate of his who lived way back in the bayou, got my first taste of zydego music, mudbugs, and boudin.
So, how was it? They weren't playing zydeco music tonight. Whoever was up there was playing oldies but goodies. It was nice all the same. Let me tell you, Cher. Pats is on da Bayou for real!!

Yep, sure seemed like they had an agenda. No contrasting studies to justify their results. And it baffles me that nothing should be trusted without the approval from the FDA. How about a study of their track record?
You mean like how many things that they approved that went bad and how many things they rejected and were great???
Yep. Always makes me shake my head when I see advertisements for medications followed by long lists of horrible side effects/precautions. Those medications are not on the market unless they're FDA approved.
Frustrates me to no end when they ask that! Another one is my wife's girlfriend who says "yeah, but he's still smoking". This after 2 1/2 years with no analog. And after a 45 year 3 PAD habit. Hey, at 63yo I'm not about to give up my caffeine/coffee in the morning and I feel the same about my nicotine. THAT'S not what was killing me

The outfit (CEH) that wrote the report does not name the laboratory they commissioned and does not provide any data on the methodology used to conduct the tests. They make a claim that the testing was done "at normal temperatures" but they provide zero documentation of that claim. They also make no mention of the quantity of e-liquid in which they claim to have found these very high amounts of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.
There's no way to know what the testing actually found. It's clear that CEH did not do a credible job of reporting on the test results and did not provide a way to access those test results.
